Good luck & we hope to hear some good news after that interview

Give USCIS a call to see how to amend this issue. You might have to wait for an updated passport. If the passport is wrong, the issuing country is going to have to fix it one way or the other. Why wouldn't they? It's their mistake, and you have documentation of what her name actually is. Otherwise, how could the passport be useful? I do not believe can use an inaccurate passport.
I totally agree. And even though it's one letter, it can be read as an entirely different name, so she will probably have to update her passport.

My husband was denied during his first interview, the only clues we have to go off of are the CO stating that he doesn't believe my husband loves me and that he entered into this relationship for immigration purposes only.
How could the CO determine such a thing? Weren't you asked for pictures, phone logs, skype conversations etc?

Hi guys,
Hope you're all well.
I've been browsing the forum & noticed that some members who filed their I-130's (CSC) in Feb 2012 got their NOA 2 within 2-3 months, whereas other members who had filed before them still didn't get approved. Could these delays have anything to do with where the beneficiary's are residing/located i.e there is no way for them to be interviewed anytime soon (because of large numbers of people who were approved & not yet scheduled for interviews pertaining to specific a country) so they postpone approving their I-130's until more interview slots are available? Or am I over thinking this & no such relationship exists?
Any feedback is highly appreciated.

You have already passed 6 months mark. Have you filed a service request? If not, then it's a high time to file one. Call USCIS right away on tomorrow.
Hi & yes the lawyer filed a service request last week but I was told it can take as long as 2 months before anything happens. :/

I agree with you both.. This is very fruastrating, I just want & need my husband with me so we can start our lives together.. I miss him dearly..
I just checked your timeline & I noticed our I-130's were received around the same time...I miss my husband as well. I thought CSC was supposed to be fast (in comparison to other centers) when it came to processing but it doesn't seem so. Let's just hope it doesn't take MORE than 12 months.
Good luck to you.

Filed Dec 30th 2011, NOA 1 Jan 9th 2012 & still nothing until now
Congratulations to those that had their processing completed =)

I asked my lawyer. She said the processing times posted are unreliable. She told me times now are between 9 and 12 months from filing to interview.
And our lawyer keeps telling us not to worry!! We just have to think positively until this whole thing is over.

YUP, I called yesterday, I was told processing times is now 6 months, sickening........ when I see February, March and April filers approved..... I'm happy/jealous.....
Seriously?! Then why is it when we check the processing time on the website it says the USCIS goal is 5 months? I've been lurking the forum for the past couple of days & noticed how some people had their cases processed very quickly.....my application was received by them Dec 30th 2011 & we got our NOA 1 Jan 9th 2012. The wait is frustrating as hell!
Now i must wait even longer.

So when a service request is submitted, does that guarantee that they will review the application within the 60 days? If so it's better than nothing I suppose...mine was sent June 28th.
