The power in my pants
Song by Snap

I'll admit I liked Dog Soldiers... but I personally wouldn't classify that as horror... though the whole werewolves killing people I guess it could fit in that catagory... it's Kiddie Horror then :-D

Children of the Corn in my pants

Free Willy in my pants :-D
Invisible man joke time (since someone else did it first)
Superman was flying around when he spotted Wonder Woman in her apartment, naked, and in the heat of passion. He decides with his super speed, he could get himself a "quickie" before she even knew what happened. So he swoops on down, and faster then a speeding bullet, gives a couple hundred thrusts and then is gone again.
Wonder woman says "Did you feel that breeze?"
The invisible man, who was on top of her and making love to her says "No, but my ####### sure hurts now"

I seen Silent Hill.. I liked it. I like horror movies, but for the most part, most of them all suck :-(
Anyone every play the game(s) about Silent Hill? I never had... so not sure how the movie fit with the game.

She's from NY, but she was writing her senator about the whole issue.. all of these illegal aliens, where mexicans make up the most of the group, are on TV from all over the country protesting
-
You really do have a hard time understanding that people are not calling all of the brown illegal immigrants mexicans... they are addressing their frustration at the actual mexicans that are here illegally, because they are by far the largest group of illegals.
Yes, I want every damn illegal mexican kicked out of the country. Then, we can show our frustration at the next largest group, and I'll start calling them by their proper name. Until then, my focus is on the mexicans.. .the little brown one's from mexico.

I don't think Chris should of been voted off... but I don't think Kat should of been either... I'm sorry, Taylor sucks. And since everyone loved pointing this out when Kellie was there... he is VFTW's pick as worst contestant. His whole presentation sucks. Yes, Kat messed up a few times last night, but so did most of them. I don't think she's the best performer btw, but she's not the worst. Well, she might be the best now with Chris gone... still haven't made my mind up about Elliot.
And don't blame the judges... Simon gave Chris better remarks then Kat, so it's not like they were the one's that got people to vote Chris off.
I still think that voting should go to the one people want off... I think it would be more fair.
One TV personality last night was saying that it was possible that the reason Chris went was because some Chris/Elliot fans probably felt that Chris was safe, so decided to try and keep Elliot alive...

I despise cell phones... I really do. I know they are a really big deal in Europe... I was in Germany and just about every european had them. I might be a dinosaur or something... but I don't see the need to have a phone with me when I go out some where. Yeah, they are convient on occassions... a break down, your at the store and can't remember what the wife needed to make that special meal... but for the most part.. I don't see the purpose in them. I leave the house to get away. If I want to talk to someone, I'll call them before I go. Otherwise, they can leave me a message. I hate talking on the phone when I'm driving (which unfortunately is still legal here... ) because it is distracting. I can't have it with me at work.. so the two times that I'm away from the house the most, I wouldn't be using it. I'd turn it off in the movie theater.... so why bother? lol
Yes, I have owned one a couple of times.. once in germany, and twice here in the states. The one time was because I was away from my kids.. my parents had them until I found a place for us to live after the army brought me back from Germany and sent me to Ft Bragg. I was living in the barracks, with no way to have a "home" phone. The other time, my ex (then she was estranged) wife got a plane and gave me one of the phones... one of the many times she was trying to lure me back... didn't work obviously. I remember I sat in a movie theater with the kids (and her, who the kids wanted to go with us) and got and sent (I think) a couple text messages with my soon to be wife :-D
One thing people have a tendency to forget.. here in the US local calls don't cost us anything. In Europe, I know they do... and people usually use text msg's alot because of it. So I find it strange to pay for yet another phone service, and some how get charged to make more local calls. Just my opinion though.

Guess I'll add my two cents. Which is what.. less then 1 quid over in the UK? lol
I haven't had the pleasure of having to help my loved one adjust to living here yet. Soon though I hope I do. And it's going to take ALOT of work on my part to show her that I care, and want to help her through it. She's not me, and I can't expect her to feel, act, or do the same things I do.
I could go to another similiar country (US and UK are alot similiar then the US and UAE for example) and have very little, if any, problems adjusting. I don't have to have certain things to eat - even could do with out pizza. I don't have a problem with sitting at home alot.. I can find stuff to do... watch movies, play some games, sleep, computer... each, every once in awhile it would be nice to get out.. but I don't need it alot.
And I think in that lies the biggest problem in these kinds of situations. Sometimes it's hard for us (guys) to understand what the "big deal" is with adjusting. We're not the most preceptive bunch out there after all. It's not that we don't care, or don't love you.. but we have a tendency to look at your problems from our eyes, and use our own reasoning.. and just have a problem getting to see it from your point of view.
I do already know about the frustration part of not being able to do much... Jay and I had a bit of an arguement once over this process.. I was having a bad day to begin with, and to me she seemed to be overly stressing over things... instead of leaving things alone, I had to open my mouht about it.. and we had a bit of an arguement. Obviously we worked things out.. and arguements do and will happen.
And that's the other thing about us men... MOST of us don't hold onto arguements and what not. I get mad, I say what I need to say, usually want to get away for a bit and a couple hours later, definately by next morning, I'm fine. I know most women feel the need to talk about it later on though, which sometimes seems to bring up the arguement all over again. If it was a simple... I'm sorry (or your forgiven if I said I'm sorry)... and I love you.. that's one thing... but usually, in most arguements I've been in.. there's nothing to really talk about afterwards. Time to just move on usually.
When the other person wants to keep bringing it up, it almost seems like they are hounding you over it. Yes, there are times when you do need to talk things through.... I admit that.
Now, I don't understand why he feels like you spend too much time on the PC when he's at work. You say you take care of all the things that need doing (and I'm not saying that you SHOULD do all the cleaning and cooking btw... just going by what you said lol), so it's not like your just sitting in front of the monitor. I wouldn't have a problem with that. I might get alittle put off if I was him and you were doing that alot when I was home and I wanted to spend time with you.
And I can kinda see him being upset about you chatting with your ex. Deep down, us guys are some how, some way.. jealous and a bit paranoid :-D. Don't let a guy ever tell you differently... he might not realize it, but he is. But we've got to understand that there will be times and situations when you will need to contact your ex for what ever reasons. You say you have a business interest with him, some have kids.. things like that. I had to force myself to not get too... worried I guess you could say, when Jay visited me last.. every time her phone got a text msg, or she sent one.. a part of me was telling me.. Dude, she's playing you. Of course, my last marriage was really like that, so I have to remind myself, She's not my ex, and I doubt she'd be going through all this PITA just to play me. (she was keeping in contact with her daughter, or was with her ex husband)
So I can see him being some what upset with you contacting him.. but he also needs to learn to deal with it. Of course, it's harder to do that when you two are not all happy and loving each other. Maybe you could help out by keeping the chats/emails/whatever strictly on a business level and leave it at that... not sure if that's something you could or should do.. just a suggestion. As much as women hate hearing about a guys ex girlfriends/wives/etc... we hate to hear about yours as well :-D
I think I rambled on enough now... probably didn't make any sense either. BTW.. learned a new UK word... row....

Well we dont get the show til Friday *grump*
But I just don't 'get' Taylor at all - he entertains but would he actually SELL?
Chirs I think is great - he looks the part of 'star' more than the other guys do and I like his voice. I like Elliot's voice too but he looks like a gumby - Kat looks great and sings well (usually - wont see til Friday how she and the others did this week)
And Paula's on crack.
And in translation, what she is saying about Chris is this: "I'd shag him till his manhood fell off if I was single"

Hey.. I have no problems with her showing off her goods... I know who she'll be coming home to and letting handle those goods... ME :-)

I was born and raised in South Jersey... while the temp there was lower, our humidity was ALOT worse then around here... so while all these locals complain, I love it :-)

For us, looks like we'll be doing the seperate account thing... well, at least she'll ahve her own accounts. My accounts I'm going to add her two... I'm like others here, I think when you marry, everything should be combined... but she doens't want to do it that way and I'm trying my best to... adapt :-) NO idea how bills and stuff will work, I think we'll be living off of my income and what not... and she'll use her money for big things (she won't be working, at least for awhile).
It's hard to get my head round why she wants to do things this way, some of that (probably) most of that is simple because it's not what I'm used to. My whole family, and my first marriage, was a joint venture across the board. Sometimes it does make me wonder things that I slap myself for later though.
