  1. I received several emails regarding :help: what I sent as evidence and what questions were asked to my fiancé. So I thought I create a forum, I know this info will be helpful to others. So here it goes!:dance:

We had overwhelming amount of evidence. I had the opportunity to visit him 6 times within the two years. This allowed us to have a lot of pics. I understand not everyone can see their significant other that often. I do suggest when you do; take a lot of pics together. We took a lot of candid pics together at his home, with his friends, out and about in town, and going out to parting. He proposed at a family gathering and we had those pics as well. I created at photo scarp book (walgreens.com) with all our pics and the dates the pic took place. This cost me $10 bucks. It was small and fit nicely in my package I mailed to my fiancé. My fiancée also had pics he took on his cell phone. He took his sim card to photo store in Barbados and was able to print them out.

In the beginning of our relationship I used my cell phone to call him (to expensive do not suggest that) I was able to provide phone records for 1 year and 5 months. I highlighted all incoming and outgoing calls that were linked to his number. Then I start using a calling card (Pennytalk.com). They have a website and you can print phone records for up to 3 months at a time. They also show a summary of how many times you called a number in a given month. Then I photo copied all my passport entries.

If you’re communicating via emails, chat’s, and Skype SAVE everything. The more evidence you have to show the authenticity of your ongoing relationship the better.

    Now the interview questions….

What date you meet your fiancée?

How did you meet your fiancée?

What is your Fiancée date of birth?

What is your fiancée child date of birth?

When was the last time you saw your fiancée?

How many times have you seen your fiancée?

Why didn’t your fiancée accompany you to the interview?

Where did your fiancée lodge when she came to Barbados?

Do you have family in the States?

Why haven’t you applied for a Visa before?

Where will you live in the states?

    Where your fiancée work?

He went through our pics. He laughed at a few (you’ll have to see the pic to understand why) He asks about some of the places we took the pics. I had braces when we 1st meet. So he asked if I still had the braces. My fiancée showed the pic of me without them. He joked that we should have used a magic jack..LOL The interviewer was kind; my fiancée gave him eye contact the entire time. He even made a few jokes about why I kept coming back  (don’t suggest you do the same)

Then he told my fiancé to sign a document, and go pay for the DHL service. You’ll receive your visa in a few days.

I hope this help you on your visa journey. (L)(L)

    God bless.

  2. I am sooooo super happy, overjoyed, smiling from ear to ear, elated, giddy....To let every one know that.........We are APPROVED....

My fiancee called me around 9:45AM screaming in the phone Babe we approved...The excitement in his voice was priceless...

Thanks be on to GOD...he is worthy to be praised... :innocent:

Thanks to everyone for your well wishes, good thoughts, and prayers. I could have bone it without the VJ website...

Have a wonderful day...I'm wishing everyone a approved status...

    God bless..

  3. I'm not sure if anyone here can answer that...even though it appears you've provided sufficient back-up...it's up to the CO. I would go get the bank letter and fax it to your fiance tomorrow. I see that your interview is on the 6th... Just to be on the safe side and since the I134 instruction does ask for one...

I was thinking the same thing. When I went to my back (Chase) they said they do not have a letter verifying the amount deposited for the year. So I just took what they gave me. I'm just worried since the I-134 instructions indicate that, that we might have a problem. Hence the reasoning of my providing what I did.

    Thanks for your help

  4. Need :help:

I did not provide my total banking deposits for the year. Will that cause a problem?

With my I-134 I provided, Bank statement with account opening date and current balance, 3 quaters of Retirement statements, brokerage statement with current stock market value, 3 years of tax returns, 3 current pay check stubs, and Employer Letter. I've been at my company for 12 years and make over the poverty amount.

Thanks for your help with this matter...

  5. I'm praying for you and everyone else as well. My fiancee and I are August filers so we're going through the most difficult part of the visa process. It's difficult trying to stay positive and upbeat when you're at a distance from someone you love and a government entity is deciding your fate. The good news for me and Kelly is we're going on a romantic trip to Panama next week. I thought it would be a good idea because we need to spend time alone together, away from family and friends. The PRR (privacy, romance & relaxation) is so important in this type of relationship. Good luck to you and your fiancee at your upcoming interview.

I totally agree... I've been lucky enough to have been able to go see my fiancée every three -five months. So within the two years of us being together Ive seen him six times. However it's becoming harder being apart and Im ready for the process to be over so we can start out loves together. I wish you and yours much success and enjoy your vacation together...

Thank for the encouraging words. It makes this process easier.

  6. Having a good looking husband is nice, however looks doesn't make him a good husband, and it appears you’re focused on his outer appearance then his heart. What's the point of having a good looking husband whose insides are ugly? Looks come and go what's going to make your marriage last in the long run is his morals and character. From what I’m getting based on your replies he’s lacking in that department.

Heaven forbid something happens to him and his no longer attractive, then what? What else do you have that's going to love him beyond what you see? I know this post is about your husband's issues; however I would suggest you examine yours as well.

People cannot make you whole; you have to be whole before you get married. Maybe you should focus on learning yourself and being content with who you are. You seem like a wonderful person who might have made a wrong choice. If that is the case learn from it and grow.

People always show you there true self. BUT it's up to you to believe them. Based on what you have express about your husband you have some decisions to make.

I wish you all the best!

  7. I've been feeling really anxious about our interview that's coming up. I'm super blessed to have found this website. This website is great source of encouragement and information. I just wanted thank everyone who takes the time to update your statuses whether it's good or bad. Your stories are extremely hopeful to others and it's much appreciated. I honestly don't think I've could have gone through this process if it wasn't for this site.

I want to give encouragement to the ones who's outcomes did not result in your favor, delayed does not mean denied. Continue to fight for your love ones and great things will come to pass...

Everyone who has an interview on the arisen I pray that God will give you great favor during your interview processes and grant you your approvals...

The ones who feel like their process is moving slow... Please stay encouraged, continue speak positive things in the atmosphere...

Please pray that my fiancée interview results are APPROVED and that everything will be okay. I will continue to pray for everyone as well...

Have a Great day my Fellow VJ...I wouldn't be this far without God and your wonderful testimonies..:thumbs:

  8. I totally understand I’m feeling the same way, I’m sure everyone going through this process does. My fiancée interview is Nov 6th, and I’m sooo anxious. I’m trying to think positive thoughts, but its nerve racking to say the least. I know they day of the interview I’m going to be sick

Just continue to think positive and I know everything well be okay…Just think your honey well soon be with you in due time.:dance::dance:

    Congrats!

  9. None of the above. Follow the Example Forms. Remember these USCIS forms are used for more than one visa type and this section has no meaning for K-1.

    Thanks everyone for your help.

One more question In the Oath or Affirmation of Sponsor box. What goes on the blank line before I certify under penalty? When I put my mouse over it, it say Enter Relationship? Would I put Fiancee Visa?

    I'm a little confused....

  10. Hello, I have a question regarding the I-134 Affidavit of support.

Question # 11 States the following ' If you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long'

I understand when my fiancé comes to the US I would provide All living expensive until he secure employment and get's on his feet. I haven't thought about giving him a certain dollar amount per week or month. How has other's answered this question? :help:

  11. Hello, my fiance legally changed his last name to his fathers name 10 years ago. I just looked at our form and realized I did not list the birth name on the I-129F form. Our I-129F was approved and our interview is on the 6st. He has all his douments showing his legal name change passports with the old and the new name..Have anyone had name change issus during the interview? I know this is on a case by case basis, but any infornmation will help...

    Thanks everyong!!!

  12. I'm super excited and nervous all at the same time. I sent the Barbados Embassy a email this morning checking on interview status......Received a email saying....wait for it.....one more sec....WE are PLEASED to inform you your interview has been scheduled for Nov 6th, 2012 at 9am...YAY :dance::dance::dance:

    God is GOOD!!! (L)(L)

  13. Hello, my experience has been fair. My expectation was that this process would take between 6-8 months. For me it has moved faster than expected. Our I-129F was approved in 75 days and we are now waiting for our interview to be scheduled. My package was sent to California service center, I have heard Vermont takes a longer time to move statuses to approve. You have to have patience to endure this journey and it will happen in due time. All you can do is make sure your documents are in order and hope for the best. I found coming to this site and reading other visajourney success stories gives me hope that mines will be soon to come.

    Good luck....
