Very much depends on the age of the child and the circumstances. A 16 year old who has always lived with his immigrant parents is going to get asked very different questions to a 5 year old who has met his new stepdad once for a week.

They won;t be denied if they don't know stepdad's job title or something, but if mom immigrates too, and the child contradicts what she says in a major way (for example in relation to the bio dad/ being married etc), then yes it could cause issues for both of them.

What kind of questions do CO ask minor kids? Any info or idea?

Your husband can petition ur son as a step father , just like what my husband did for my kids it took us 7 mos.to get approved and were almost done on our journey,,, good luck!

Every employers are different some are asking for a copy of ur GC but some just want to see it, that is base on my experience here in the state that im in just sharing.

I didnt have any problems at all when I started applying for jobs just be ready if they need copy of your green card be sure to have it with you all the time just in case they ask for it, good luck.

On part 4 of I-751 form information about your children, do we have to put the names of our child on both previous relationships? My kids are still in the Phils and still minors and are about to come here in summer while his are all grown ups,we dont have kids of our own yet. Thanks in advance.

She will need your marriage certificate and of course the other supporting docs.that DFA requires to change her name, CFO will need her passport coz they will put sticker on it after the seminar.

You can list them and check the box No, they are not living with you and No they are not applying with you.

My wife will be doing her medical exam soon, and she would be a little shy to pull her pants down and let a nurse give her a shot unless they were in a private room with the door closed. Are the shots given in a private room with the door closed?

All physical exams are done privately with the doctor.

Oh ok these petitions are for my 2 minor kids and my usc husband step children, thats why we filled out that part of I864. Thanks pushbrk.

We filed our taxes together,we just thought that we need to filled out that part on I864 coz its asking abt the total income annually but i guess we dont have to filled that question?

You'll need to provide evidence of current income too. A pay current pay stub will do nicely for that. Is it your spouse providing the I-864a forms. If so, that's fine. If not, who and why?

Finally were about ready to send AOS for 2 minor kids these are the documents that we are about to send.

because if only one I-130 was sent in, those minor kids are not covered.

We had it included that when we submitted our petition to USCIS, so do we still have to send it again? By the way they are 7 and 9 y.o.
