Has any VSC December 2011 or January 2012 K-1 filers with an RFE receive NOA2 yet? It's been 33 days since VSC received my RFE and still waiting. Hope it doesn't take another 33 days. more.

I didn't receive a notification when i sent in my RFE. Check the status of your case at uscis.gov and if and when USCIS receives your RFE and update its file, it will reflect over there and that's how you will know, unless you have signed up for case updates.

Hi guys,
I have a question specifically for petitioners and/or beneficiaries of K-1 who are about to or have had their visa interview at the U.S.'s Ghana embassy. I have two questions: (1) has anyone successfully been able to request (either by themselves or through someone like their senator) and had their interview date brought forward? and (2) has anyone been allowed to have their petitioners present at the interview room?
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
I received an RFE dated May 7, 2012 for my K-1 petition (it was asking for a divorce document that I believe I included in my original document and also a more legible copy of entry/exit stamps in passport) and VSC received my response on May 23, 2012. The RFE stated that I should expect a response between 14 to 60 days. I just want to know from people who were in similar situation (not necessarily exact) when they received their NOA2. Will I have to wait close to the 60 days before receiving my NOA2?
Thanks
K-1 petition: 43 days after RFE and still no NOA2
in K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures

Hi guys,
For people who had an RFE notice for their K-1 petition, I just want to know the experiences of K-1 visa petitioners/beneficiaries who had an RFE and did or did not put in a service request. It's been 43 days now after my RFE. I sent a letter to my congressman's office last Friday, 06/29/2012, to seek help in facilitate my petition and I called today to check on what has been done and apparently nothing has been done on their part yet (they are blaming the storm) and so I am not expecting any quicker help from there. My questions are: (1) for those who put in a service request later on after the RFE, do you think the service request helped in getting a quicker NOA2 or it did delay it? and (2) for those who did not put in a service request, did it take more than the standard 60 days that USCIS states to get your NOA2?. I am thinking of putting in a service request but don't want to do it if it will end up delaying my petition.
Thanks.
