Wow, did not think of getting our daughter a VN passport. Our daughter is a US Citizen.
Good information.
Thank you

My family is traveling to Vietnam near the end of June, I think we have everything in order...
My question is regarding the Visa for our daughter and myself. I was on the VN website and ran across some information about Visa Waivers.Looks like our daughter and I would be exempt from obtaining a travel visa to VN because of her mothers status. I am married to a VN national and our daughter is ... well of course a child of a VN citizen.
Any comments or advise regarding this?
Thanks,
Steve

Was hoping to get some input on Iphones for family in Vietnam.
Walmart has the IPhone 4s for $300 new and was considering buying a couple for family. Just wanted to get some input or advice, as I am an old dude and don't have any idea.
The carrier is Straight Talk.
Not sure if they can be unlocked and used back home in VN.
Thanks - hope someone can help me out.

My wife never received her appointment letter via mail. We simply printed the email and used it for all.
Complete all forms as instructed. Be organized and ready for interview.
Good Luck!

My wife and I went yesterday to have her info transferred to the I-693. She did need a couple of shots, but to have the I-693 completed was only $45 in Asheboro, NC. The official I-693 was completed and sealed by the Civil Surgeon.

On page #2 it asks for the Nonimmigrant Visa number. When looking at my wife's visa, there's 2 numbers, I suspect it would be the number stamped in red at the lower right hand corner. But there's also a control number at the top.
- Could I get a little help with this one?
Thanks,
Steve

My husband has no biological children of his own and did not list mine(his step children) on his I-485. We did list them later on the I-751 when filing jointly to remove conditions from his green card though.
Thank you... Great info!

Yes, you are correct, but once married... do my kids become her's by marriage? I didn't know if that is what they were asking.
Thanks for you support...

On the Form I-485
Part 3. Processing Information
B. List your present spouse and all of your children.
Is this all of our children combined? Are they asking only for her children or all children between us?
My wife, from Vietnam, has no children. But I have 2 sons from a previous marriage. Thanks! ... I love this place!

Item #33
List below all educational institutions attended:Do I need to list all of her schools? Including grade school? Like 1st grade - 12 grade?
Also, when asking for current addresses, There is not enough room to type the answer, yet I could hand write in in the box provided. Would it be better to Type the answer on an attached paper?
Seems silly questions, but really could use some support with them
Thank you all very much...

usally, the IV unit has a section of their web site that contains the forms and instructions for chasing after a K-1 visa.
You can get the forms by downloading them, not wait for the packet 3 to hit via postal mail.
Gotcha.. I am tracking our package now through DHL on it's way to Vietnam. Should have most everything ready for them next week!
Thank you for your help!

I am sure some of the songs she sang are love songs, but keep in mind, most if not 99% of Vietnamese love songs are sad, heart broken songs, especially for singers like Khanh Ly, Le Thu... Heck, even Vietnamese New Year genre still have the sad tone in of of them...
There are some wedding specifics Vietnamese songs and they are more upbeat.. I can look up those for you if you like, but I don't believe that Khanh Ly is in any of those
Thank you 100! That would be great! Thank you so much for your help... We are getting close, and trying to start making some plans. I could not have made it this far without Visa Journey.
Thanks,
Steve

Hello all,
As I sit watching my beautiful Fiancee sew. I was thinking...
I wanted us to dance our first dance as Husband and Wife to one of Khánh Ly's songs. Can anyone help me choose one?
My Fiancee loves her music and plays it often, thought this would be a nice suprise when we get married here in the US.
Thank you,
Steve

NVC has our case! After calling several days, waiting on hold etc. Yes! They have our case but they have not entered our information into their system/ computer...
Said to call back tomorrow or the next day, they will advise... cool will do.
My question is. I have read most everything I can regarding what is happening now/ next. What is the advantage of getting the case # early? Can I get all the information from the packages/ instructions before they send it? The lady I spoke with said they would send instructions.
We are on the Vietnam, K1 journey. Feels really good - and feels like we are getting close!
Thank you so much for your input and direction.

Fantastic thank you for your help... Could you offer some help with question #11 on the I-134?
I answered yes, "intend" with explanation that we will be married and live together. That I will support Na as my wife the rest of my life.
Am I off track there with what they are looking for?
Thank you
