He's in Madagascar now, already crossed the Indian Ocean. I'll be joining him in South America in a few weeks. I'll be visiting 3 countries I've never been to (Argentina, Uruguay & Brazil) I'm super excited!!
I would suggest you start gathering your stuff now if you can. Mine really sneaked up on me and I felt rushed putting it together. It didn't help that Jordan was at sea and couldn't help. He just gets frustrated anyway, so it was probably...

Good for you! I wished I had done the same. Oh well, I got it done. We'll see if I get the dreaded RFE. I picked up my Brazilian visa today! I was a little worried as I had to leave my passport with them for a week. I'm wondering how Jordan's re-entry will go with his expired GC and extension letter. We'll find out on May 4th when his ship arrives in Miami.

It was the border agent that told him to file for the K-1 Visa. Yep, we did a lot of crying too.

Jordan made the mistake of telling them he was coming down here to spend time on his boat and with his fiance...guess this made him a "high risk" Ugh

Jordan was stopped at the airport (Vancouver) He had managed to get a couple months off work and was planning to spend the summer here. When he got turned away last Friday we were just devistated. Thanks! I'm down in Southern California so I fly up. I fly into Vancouver from LAX and drive to Chilliwack. I wish they had direct flights to Abbotsford. I'll be flying up tomorrow!
