Good for you! I wished I had done the same. Oh well, I got it done. We'll see if I get the dreaded RFE. I picked up my Brazilian visa today! I was a little worried as I had to leave my passport with them for a week. I'm wondering how Jordan's re-entry will go with his expired GC and extension letter. We'll find out on May 4th when his ship arrives in Miami.

He's in Madagascar now, already crossed the Indian Ocean. I'll be joining him in South America in a few weeks. I'll be visiting 3 countries I've never been to (Argentina, Uruguay & Brazil) I'm super excited!!

Hi there! Jordan did his biometrics 2/19, so that is done. He got called last week to join a ship in Perth, Australia. lol I wish I could have gone with him. He's already sailed away though. 20 hours of flying and he had to go to work that night, ugh. He didn't have a chance to see anything. You know how long those flights are, don't you. He'll be gone for 7 weeks, I hope we don't get an interview scheduled. I doubt we'll hear anything that soon. Looks lik...

It's good to start now. I felt somewhat rushed getting mine together as I didn't even think about this for over a year. They say the co-mingled finances/property is the best evidence. I think the photos are secondary. We don't have the house in both our names so I had to go heavy on the other stuff. I'll keep you posted how it goes.

Hi! I just started poking around here again. ROC is not that far off (need to file the first week of Jan). Ugh, one last time through this dance. Things are great! Jordan will be home in 8 days from his last off shore assignment and will be home for awhile. His next contract is out of Long Beach where we live....yay! So, I'm still playing the waiting game, but much easier knowing he'll be home for sure. Hope all is well with you!

Well my journey came to an end a couple months ago.. I found out my Eddy was cheating on me with someone from his home town.. Guess that would be why he stated he was not quite ready for the transition. I am trying to find out how to delete my profile here as every time I get an e-mail notification that someone has responded to a thread I have commented on it breaks my heart just a little bit more remembering how hard we worked to get our NOA2!.. Hi CarolAnn, so sorry to hear this. I can only imagine how it must feel to keep getting the updates.
I don’t know how to delete a profile, but at least you can stop the emails. Click on your name in the upper right corner, a drop down menu will appear. Click on “My Settings” . Then on the left you’ll click on “Notification Options” . There you can un-check everything and this should stop the emails. Hope this helps!
