  1. I searched a lot but was not able to get the answer to the question. My cousin (on F1 and maintaining her status) is dating and her boyfriend is on GC. I have always heard that the wait times are extremely long for spouses of GC holders but when I looked up the April bulletin on USCIS website the dates are showing current. Does that mean that if they get married now, they will be able to file for I-130 and I-485 together?

Am I missing something here? Thanks for the help

  2. I will contact my congressman and clearly explain him their processing time on their website says Sept 29, 2014 and I am two weeks before than that and still haven't received anything. But definitely the next step will be a congressman. Since they are obviously too DUMB to do the math.

Well I called back and asked them wth is going on and they created another Service Request and told me I will hear back soon. This running around is so ridiculous.

  3. So I tried this morning to submit a service ticket and says that my EAC number doesn't match up with the application I am trying to submit! I am getting extremely sick and tired of waiting! I don't know what else to do! I have called and they say that they can contact the relevant people but that will take 30 days! I really just want my card :(

EAC number should be the one from the original I751 u received and not from the one on Biometric Page. U must know there are 2 EAC numbers

  4. No. Online it only says that the application was recieved 9 months ago. Thats it. Im afraid that they had sent an RFE or ... and I never recieved it.

If you don't know my Application Filing Date is 09/15/2015

On May 27th I received the letter in Mail that saying I reached out to them 05/21/2015 and created a service request and this is the BS which follows

"After reviewing your records, we have determined that the USCIS office that has jurisdiction over your case can better answer your questions. We forwarded your service request to the Vermont Service Center on 05/27/2015"

Now on June 1st I receive another letter from Vermont Service Center and this is the bullshittery which follows

"On May 21st you or your representative contacted USCIS concerning your petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (Form I-751) to notify us that you believe your application is outside of our normal case processing time. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

The processing of your Form I-751 is within our current processing time. Please see our website at www.uscis.gov for processing times."

  5. Yayyyyy approved. Date of decision 5/13. Funny thing is that I made a service request one or two days after. And I asked the agent if he had any info he said, no still pending, he wasnt very helpful. He created the service request and told I would be getting a response to that within two weeks. Bahaha I got my approval.

Personal experience, no text mesaages no email and the website still hasn't changed.

Now time to party!!! Good luck to those who are still waiting.

If website still hasn't changed then how did you find out about the approval? Did you just find the card lying in mail?

  6. How did you create a service request? I tried a few times and tells me that the receipt number is not associated with that type of form (I-751)? I use the same one to check my status.

Should I be using the first receipt, the one that came before biometrics?

Yes the receipt number from Biometric Doc is for checking status but the receipt number from 1st notice is to be used for creating Service Request. Weird but that's how it worked for me

  7. Don't worry about it ... USCIS do not bother them self to change for any updated status .... i submitted my application in September, still says we have received your application.

I am concerned because I have not received anything till today besides 1 yr extension letter and Biometrics. It's 8 months already and all I have is

"On September 15, 2014, we received your Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident Status Received, Receipt Number EAC********, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by October 15, 2014, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

  8. i am a September filler in Vermont ....i got RFE on march 3rd 2015 .....i responded back on 25th april. does anyone know how long USCIS will take to update me?

When you received RFE did the online status change? Did the online uscis case tracking page show you that a RFE has been issued or you just found the RFE Letter in the mail?

My status has not changed one bit and 7 months later it still says we have received your application. I am concerned if anything was sent and USPS messed it up. I will never know in that case if the USCIS page doesn't update.

  9. HI

    I have a few questions....

I have read people commenting on their online status changing or not changing or reflecting things....

I go to the USISC site and put in the file number for my husbands case and I have no status report...just a general note saying on such and such date we sent you a letter ....if you have moved called this number. That was back in September.

My question is...am I checking in the correct site for possible movement? I never got an RFE notice or more importantly, that they recieved my editional evidence.

Also I read someone suggested if there is no solution with another persons case after sending answer to RFE...then go ahead and file an N 400. Was that a joke? Or is that an option after 3 years of marriage?

And is everyone approved and gone from the original September fliers??? I read some of the last posts and there was a lot of bidding adieu....I feel even more lost. :crying:

I am in the same boat. I am a september filer and I have received nothing. It just shows that they received my application on Sept 15 and they responded to me. That's it.

I do notice that the application number from I757 does not bring up anything. It just says application number not found. However, the application number from my Biometric Paper pulls this status out. A little weird for me.

June 15th is when I will apply for citizenship with or without Non-Conditional GC

  10. You will need affidavit from landlord you are residing with to show them communal residence. No lease at will trigger RFE for communal residence.

When I had gone for my first interview I had the initial copy of my lease with both our names which the Immigration interviewer had kept with her including my real Birth Certificate as evidence which I never received back. Can I refer to that in my application that they already have the docs?

  11. For now this is all I have, everything has common address as we have been living in the same house all this while.

    1) Her Insurance Policy
    My Insurance Policy
(Merged Insurance Policy for past 6 months)
    2) Her bank statements for past 2 yrs - Common Address
My Bank Statements for past 2 yrs - Common Address
    3) Our common American Express Credit Card with statements from March 2013 till June 2014
    4) Tmobile Phone Bills past 2 yrs - (Separate Till Feb 2014 and then after my contract expired we converted to a family plan)
    5) Tax Returns 2012 & 2013
    6) Pictures from various occasions
    7) Affidavit of support from 2 citizens.
WIll that be enough as we have no lease and cars titles are on separate names.
  12. Hey Guys,

2 years flew so fast in our marriage that we didn't even realize. We started prepping our documents for removing conditions and realized that being 2 independent young working people we never bothered to merge our checking or savings account. Heck we don't have a big savings anyway that it would have helped. Here is what we do have.

    1) Joint Tax Returns

    2) Same address for 3 yrs now

    3) Joint Credit Card for over 2 years now (Only Financial evidence)

    4) Joint Car Insurance

    5) Family Cellphone Plan

    6) Travel Itineraries and flight ticket (Domestic)

We have millions of photos with all our friends together. I know it's not really a strong evidence but thought I will throw it in here.

What scares me now is that we have no joint checking or savings account. In fact, she doesn't even have a savings account. It's only me who keeps both of our savings in one account.

Any suggestions on what I can do now as i'm barely 2 weeks away from sending my docs. Thanks guys,
