I mean this is just crazy! And then to hear people who filed through VSC and got approved within a couple of weeks!Seriously?!?! This is agony LOL

  4. 10 weeks til I'm back in the UK on vacation with my fiance. Case status is still in initial review. Gonna be working on the portfolio for my fiance to take for his interview though, when the time comes for it.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that it doesnt change from initial review until you get the post activity decision (approval) I can se on your timeline that you just sent your petition last month, so do not panic if it is still in initial review the next couple of months ;)The wait can be long, but it's all worth it in the end. Good luck to you guys! :)

Thanks that's good to know! I hate it doesn't change :( that's a little misleading of them, but I know it'll absolutely be worth the wait. Just getting a bit anxious lol. I know we still have some time to go before we'll hear anything. Believe most of the ones that filed in the beginning of the year are just now getting their NOA2.

  5. Received hard copy of NOA2 in the mail :))

You shouldn't have too much longer to wait. 6 months is average, but it could take 7. Just keep checking on the status. Mine went missing for a bit when it went to the NVC before going on to the consulate. Good luck!

Thank you! I'm getting a little anxious now knowing that the time is getting closer and closer to us hearing something any day. I regularly check my emails and the status of our case lol.

  9. Visa Journey keeps sending me emails that they haven't heard from me in a while.. would I like to update our case status? I would love too! HOWEVER, it's still a waiting game at this point. On March 10, 2017, USCIS received our Form CRI-89, Petition to Remove Conditions of Permanent Resident. We go through the Vermont Service Center, and as of today (10/22/17) they are processing I-751 forms dated from 10/03/16... So the best we can hope for right now is that we will hear something from USCIS around the beginning of the new year. lol

It does that for me too and since I'm not applying for citizenship I just delete them.

  10. APPROVED!!! My husband received his letter of congratulations in the mail. Removal of Conditions was approved 02/02/18, and my husband is now a lawful permanent resident of the United States! (L) We were ecstatic for many reasons, but really impressed that we had no RFEs and no interview!
