  1. Interview for AoS is scheduled for August 19th. Ye gods, look at all the just-in-case paperwork we need to take along.

Good luck! We took 3 full 3.5 inch binders and a photo album. If I could've thrown in the kitchen sink for good measure, I would have! Better to be over prepared than get an RFE at the interview.

ha! well at least you are ahead in some processes! I'm having the change of address nightmare with AOS. we'll get there and at least I'm here. :) Hope you are well.

We're doing fairly well. Dreading all the reprints of all the paperwork yet again. If I'd known the process was going to involve this much printing, I'd have bought a laser printer at the start of it all.

  2. Mailbox is checked. Hope it helps!

  3. We have our case number, the package is in transit to Portugal, I'm making copies of everything so I can send her the originals and have a reserve if need be, the IRS is sending me my tax transcripts for the last four years, and it looks like she'll be able to visit for Christmas and be home for good sometime around February.

  4. All right, thank you!

  5. Hey, at what point did the affadavit of support come into play? During packet 3, or at the interview?

  6. Thank you. Hope you get yours soon, too.

  7. Congratulations to you, and thanks.

  8. It's kinda normal for us. I work nights, and her sleep schedule is pretty erratic. Of course, having a writer's brain doesn't help my sanity any - when a week goes by without even a peep, there's a corner of my mind that keeps conjuring up increasingly nightmarish situations that could be happening.

  9. Eh. I haven't heard from her since last Sunday, but at least I know she's not in a hospital or anything since she's posting on a forum where she plays Mafia.

  10. You could also try looking up Munzees. ;) they're just little QR codes you let your phone get a photo of, instead of sometimes-elaborate hides like geocaches have. :D

  11. Incidentally, if you do poke around with geocaching and can't figure out how to find a cache, feel free to ask us - with 306 (me) and 364 (her) finds, we've gotten fairly good at ferreting them out.
