My current income from my employer meets the poverty level but my 2011 incime tax return is short of the poverty level, So if I get a letter of employment from my employer stating my income am I gonna be ok on the I-864?

Also for my fathers income for me to qualify do they need his current income or his income on his last tax return?

Are you sure of my father? because I live with him for now and we have the same address and I need him as a joint sponsor to help me meet the income level. I read on the I864 instructions that I need to add him as part of household to meet income level.

I see so many different awnsers here so im hoping to get the truth lol.

I pay child support for my 2 kids who do not live with me, and I havent claimed them on my taxes for the last 2 years, now are they gonna be considred part of my household when I fill out the I-864 or not? Also I live with my father for now til my wife comes and I need him as a joint sponsor to make up the difference on my income from last years tax return, is he also gonna be considered as a household member?

Congrats, I check mine everyday because I had a friend who got hers approved in 1 month back in october, does'nt look like that is happing lateley, good luck on everything else.
