My wife the beneficiary hasnt recieved her packet #4 from the embassy yet that was suppose to be mailed our in the mail. I know the mail is not very reliabe here in the dominican republic, we also went to the post office here today and nothing there, Could we use the Email copy they sent both of us for the appointment to get into the embassy or we have to use the one they send to her from the embassy, running out of time interview is in 2 weeks?

Thx, i might have to fill out another ds230 because it just has her married name not like her passport with maiden and maried together, We have intervew in 2 weeks so i better bing another one filled out with both names together..

Hi everyone.

(1) Im been reading on here and now im confused lol. Does my wife need to get the police clearence for up coming interview in maiden name or now married name like it is on her new passport and her cedular but cedular has the same ID number?

(2) Also does the ds230 need to match exactley as passport? The ds230 has been filled out in her married name but here in DR the added her miden name with mine together, but the ds230 just has my last name not her maiden name along with mine?

I called DOS today to see if the embassy in santo domingo mailed the packet 4 yet, and the lady said NVC mails it out and did onthe 1st of febuary, I dont think she know what she was talking about.smh..because thats when i got the email not the actual packet from DR. I gess were gonna wait a little longer then try to track it down.

Does anyone know how long it takes to recieve packet 4 from Santo Domingo Us embassy, that if it ever arrives because the mail here is not dependable?

Well thats it folks for DR thir done with Febuary guess we gotta wait til March.. Since im still leaving next week for DR i guess ill enjoy a long vacation with my wife til she comes back home with me..Talk to ya next month..

I just called also and a nice guy said that thir almost done scheduling for Febuary intervews for Santo Domingo, and thir is small hope it will be scheduled for Febuary, so the way thats sounding its not gonna happen i guess im gonna have to wait til March #######.......

Yea we are gonna pay it, its only 2000 pesos..

My wife just told me if she doesnt pay that light bill they send a notice to the banks and she will get denied credit when needed...

My wife also owes a light bill, hopefully she dont have to pay now either..
