    After the tearful goodbyes, my child and I arrived in SFO safely, with hubby anxiously waiting for us outside ready with wool coats =) Finally, all three of us are reunited. Thank you Lord and Mama Mary for guiding our journey every step of the way. To God be all the glory!

    Received CASE COMPLETE email BUT put on hold for 60 days. NVC cannot proceed to interview scheduling so that my child's case can catch up.

      im not sure, but the email we recvd was in response to my hubby's inquiry thru email also,asking about the progress of our cases(my child&me),NVC replied,' we have completed processing of this case (mine) but will be put on hold for 60 days since one/more related case is still currently being processed'.

      my hubby is so busy, he cant call nvc,so he wil just send an email and nvc will respond in 1-2wks. Sometimes, its me who will send an email using my hubby's email add. I'm the one who calls nvc weekly =)

    Piece of advice. If your AOS fee will be invoiced soon. DO NOT use the I-864 new version- your AOS packet will be put on hold just like the rest,including mine. The old version is still acceptable until JUNE 23! Send the I-864 new version to the beneficiary for the Embassy interview..

      I check with NVC and they confirmed your point. I am just quiet worried that they may hold back on invoicing new AOS bills since they have a pile waiting to be reviewed. I will surely use the old version if they invoice my AOS next week, which i hope that will be the case. Thanks.

      too bad! prehas pla tau new versn.aos packet sent May11,nvc recvd May15. tumawag ako sa NVc 2 days ago,on hold lahat ng aos packet w/ new version..sbi saken hindi pa nla ni-review ung aos packet kc new version gnamit ni hubby,wla pang instructions ibinigay kng pano e-review ung new version.Sbi d2 sa vj bka after June23 pa ung processng.. another delay na namn.. ;( bka matatagalan pa ung case completion natin..

      waaahh... relate much naman ako sa conversation nyo friends... ako nga kahit sanay na ako hiwalay sa family ko sa pinas dahil dito ako work sa singapore, andun pa rin yung takot na lumayo ng as in kabilang sulok ng earth.. wala pa kami anak, and wala ako ibang direct relatives sa US kundi yung asawa ko.. *sigh*

      And yeah, bagong policy yun na magbabayad ng immigration fee na US $165 once visa is released.. walang katapusang gastos... haist..

      Hopefully,ung adjustment natin sa US wil much b easier if katabi na natn ung mga hubby natn, I think...

      @Leizz,wen u r in the States, start making babies na! hehe IMO, life would be mor complete & meaningful once u hav a child.. =) good luck

      USCIS Immigrant fee $165 wil b paid after u reciv the visa & before ur skeduled POE. Online payment at USCIS website. Will update u on Mon/Tue after I call them kc wala po dun sa website ung sitiuation sa mga anak natin.
