  1. My I485 application status shows online Card/Document Production order... But I have not seen anything online that says approval.. Does that Card/Document Production order means I'm approve and also my I-130 Petition still shows initial review?? Is that normal or bad???

Brother man, you are approved. Enjoy the very beginning of the rest of your life as you've gone green. You've stressed yourself enough through the whole process, don't do it now :). It's a beautiful night!!!

  2. To the poster I would advice that you send something showing that you both live together even though you are newly weds. This is USCIS we are talking about, you don't want to rush yourself into sending off your packet and risking giving them the opportunity to prolong your case by sending you RFE's, trust me.

So if you can't get on the lease, you might wanna get the owner/landlord/roommates you guys live with to write a sworn affidavit explaining the living situation and why you can't get the lease. That way you have covered that. I have seen one too many cases that they(USCIS) send RFE's just cause of the lease. If you read the filing guide carefully, you'd see that it's one of the evidence listed there for filing.

Just my point of view. You could go ahead and file with all you have also. Good luck!

  3. No ... It hasn't change it's still at testing and interview..

As you know, I'm yet to have my interview, so sitting hear and telling you that I know how you must be feeling right now will be a lie... all I can say is I can only imagine the frustration of waiting, of not knowing your fate, your future. But I want you to have faith, believe it'll turn out right and it just might. Let them check all that there is they need to check to confirm all 3 or 2 arrest. Hopefully in no time you'll get that text that everyone gets after approval.

Just my 2 cents to you. God bless and good luck!

  4. Well what can I say... Me and my wife went our interview was at 2:15 we got called in 2:20 ... We swore !!!! And first thing the IO said was I have 3 arest and I said no I had 2 arrest and the 1 summons just a ticket... Anyways he ask me my wife place of birth .. Then ask my wife if I moved in with her or she moved in with me... She said she moved with me... Then he ask about if we were ever married and we both said no... Then he ask about kids... And my wife told him she has a daughter and he ask me and I said no I have no kids ... He then ask if her daughter lives with us we both said yes!!!! But that was all... He ask... He was focus more on my arrest record... Then he said I have to look at your arrests record then make my decision... But the main fact is why does he have to look at my arrest record Its all their original dispositions certified by court, I even took extra... Just incase they might have misplaced it...so he said he'll mail me my decision ... And he never stamp or took my EAD card!!! Or ask for my I -94... I'm so sad with tears!!!

So sorry things went that way, but hey don't give up all hope just yet. Like someone said, since all your arrest records are in order, then there's nothing to worry about. Don't count yourself just yet.

  6. I cannot believe how far this has come, it is amusing to look back on some of the beginning posts and see us all worried about about the non-cashment of checks, no NOA1 and delayed biometrics etc. It is quite remarkable to finally be entering the homestretch and to see how the journey has unfolded and of course, how far together we have all come.

Good luck to all of the July interviewees: George, Brittwill, USCIB, Nane & Avi.

I am also sending good vibes to Mike and Basee and that they finally have the positive outcome that they and we have all been hoping for.

Strycek, you are also in my thoughts and I know that an interview letter with your name on it will be arriving soon!

Thank you! And @nene815... thank you too and wish you the same.

  7. Ugh what can I say! It went terrible! She accused us of lying about the I-94 after showing the recipet she said she believes that he wasn't admitted legally. And she said that u had till Friday to prove otherwise because passport and stamp weren't enough! 1-485 is being held she said I should expect a denial in 10 days and in 90 days deportation! I don't know wat to do! Apparently Colombia is high fraud especially during the 90s. Husband is upset as me too! I just cried when she told me that! She didn't ask for any docs only about the I-94 and no pictures either

So sorry to hear this. Was really hoping you'd come back with all smiles. Seems like that particular IO definitely had a bad night and a worse morning. Do you think you can get it before Friday?

    Good luck!
