    We met on a social networking site, chatted for a few hours about a bunch of failed relationships we've had and I told him, he just needed to find the right girl, he was so sweet! Little did I know I was the right girl!! We skyped every day for 4 months, watching movies, reading books, writing stories, then I bought him a plane ticket to come see me for his birthday. Well he came over and stayed for about a month, then when his return ticket came due we decided we just couldn't be apart again, so we eloped!! Been married nearly 4 years and couldn't be happier!!

    We were not an overstay VWP situation, but we did AOS from VWP a few years back. My husband is the UK citizen. I wanted to wish you two all the best for your AOS process. The wait for approval can be nerve wracking. I hope that it goes quickly for you two. We were so nervous during that initial interview (and the drive home as we weren't told an immediate yes). Good luck!
