  1. The best thing to do is while you are on VJ (yes its addicting) read and participate what was foreign to you once upon a time now you can help others.

Even if that's just a "sorry u r going through this" to a "congratulations". Cuz frankly registering your case on the uscis.gov website just makes you nuts its like playin a stare down contest and they ain't movin. Like I said before you will look at Igor's list and see people who filed when you did maybe get approved weeks, months in advance. Nothing special they did just favour and being blessed. Not that we all aren't just not our time yet.

You are going to get auto emails for people who filed around the same time as you and updated their timeline. You may be waiting for NOA2 and others around you are already at interview or have Visa's.

So just hold on and meet some cool peeps and laugh, cry and celebrate on this Visa Journey Love Boat.

:wow: Very well said!; Great avice for us all.

  2. LOL well welcome to the crazy nut house. But i like to call it welcome aboard the Visa Journey Love boat. You will have plenty of time to lose your mind and you will.

You will see someone who filed after you get approve. Someone get approve in a week, 2 weeks. And you will be like "I am so happy for them I want to slap them also". LOL its normal and no one but us understands.

    What she said

  3. same here more money that we have to spend and each sheet cost about 10 dollars so maginate tu :(

Be glad that you found someone to do it for $10 per page. Here in Atlanta, the cheapest I found was $25 per page for cerfified translations. Also, it's really worth it for Dominicans to find another Dominican to do the translations, Central and South Americans do not use or recognize the same words we do.

If I have to do any more tranlations, I'm taking a trip to NY

    Good luck with everything.

  4. I have the same math problem: If on average 100 new VJ menbers file for K1 per month, then it goes to reason that we should see about 25 approvals per week to keep up with demand. As I see it, that's not happening.

I know I still have a long wait in front of me, but I would love to see more VJ members get approvals. Even if it's just to keep my sanity (members getting approvals = we're getting approved soon).

  5. Sorry to see you're going to such a hard time. (F) (F) (F) (F)

As MrTee12 said, keep the faith and don't let this ruin your relationship.

Hope it all gets resolved quickly. Good luck

  6. I don't have a dog in this fight, and am not trying to come off as experienced or punch hole in your theory.

With that said, I believe that Rebecca Jo is trying to give you good and solid advice. I've always found that when it comes to dealing with government types, it is always safer to KISS (keep it simple s...)

Good luck with whatever course of action you decide to take and please keep posting your progress.

  7. It seems like your mind and your heart are in the right place. A child brings along with it a lot of responsabilities and added expenses. Nobody should have a child to aid them in whatever venue they find themselves in at the moment.

Gather as much additional proof as you deem nescesary and when you both feel you're ready, may you have the most beautiful and wonderful child god has put on the face of this earth.

    Good luck
