  1. Congratulations!

    Hello mga kabayan! Just an update. My visa interview was approved today! (Sa wakas!)

    I checked my visa status via ceac website and it says "Issued". I opted to pick it up to a 2go branch here in Pampanga. Hoping to get it soon!

  2. https://www.pay.gov/paygov/forms/formInstance.html?agencyFormId=40850201

    You will need to complete the electronic form and provide:

    • the Alien number of the applicant
    • the Case ID number of the applicant
    • your checking account information, or
    • your debit or credit card information.

    All check payments must be drawn on a U.S. bank.

    If you are unable to make this payment, another person can make this payment on your behalf

    Thanks for this info. :):thumbs:

  3. Told ya. Congrats. :dance:

    Now prepare to pay the new Immigrant fee of $165 (to be paid online by the petitioner BEFORE you fly to the US). Instructions are included in the visa packet.

    Attend PDOS at CFO: http://www.cfo.gov.ph/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1347:for-filipinos-leaving-the-country-with-an-immigrant-visa&catid=139

    The petitioner will be the one who will pay the $165 immigrant visa fee in the US?Thanks for this info,I thought I'm going to pay the said amount here in the Philippines?

  4. is it a good sign for faster processing?

    Yes. It is.

    What documents did you send in? Your AP is really short!!! Congratulations!

    Thanks! :)

    I submitted the following documents:

    1.My son's new NBI clearance

    2.My hubby's letter of explanation of not filing his income tax because he overstayed here in the Philippines for a year.

    3.Form I-864 AOS of my sister in law and her husband.W2 and ITR (all original and recent copy).

    I'm really thankful to God for everything. We never expected that we will be given a visa that soon. :dance::)

  5. My brother and I are filing for an F2a visa. On our interview we got a 221g letter but our passports were taken. We submitted the required documents, these were: ITR(2012),W2,Affidavit of Support, New NBI Clearance, Evidence of permanent resident (ID) and current income for the petitioner. Recently i posted a topic, and I got a reply to check your case here. But I was wondering how long does it take to receive our visa? And when they took our passports, is it a good sign for faster processing? Thanks in Advance!

    Submit the documents they requested.I received 221g letter when I was interviewed on March 26,2013.I submitted the missing documents April 2 and the USEM received the documents, April 5...Received my visa today April 19.Though,not all cases are the the same.Keep the faith God is always there!

    Good luck!

    Thanks :)

  7. I had my interview last April 18, 2013 and shockingly I was given a 221g form asking for a joint sponsor.

    They needed the ff documents:

    from a qualified joint sponsor ANYONE

    * Affidavit of support with original signture

    * U.S Federal income tax return(s) for year(s)

    * W2 form(s) for year(s)

    * Form 1-864A from joint sponsor and spouse/co-resident with original signatures

    * Evidence of U.S citizenship or status as lawful permanent resident

    * Evidence of current sustained income

    Do you think it's fine if I will be sending them scanned copies only of i-864, i-864a, w2, itr and stuffs? Should my husband needs to fill out another i-1864? because it'll take a week if my husband will send it via mail and I already have my ticket..date of departure will be on May 31, 2013. We're both really worried. I hope to get a fast reply from here. Thank you so much in advance

    The same thing happened to me when I was interviewed, provide the original and updated copy with original signature not scanned copy.Because I provided the scanned copy during my interview.
