Hi Guys,

Just wanted to prepare in Advance ..in case if I get NOA2 in next couple of Months as I am 9 months away to current visa Bulletin( F2A VSC PD FEB 03 2011)..unfortunately I haven't received my NOA2 Approval notice yet.

Just wanted to know the next steps to take after i receive NOA2. What legal documents will I need to complete my case? Will I ned IRS Transcript now or when my husband will go for Visa Interviw? I have so many questions rising in my mind so started a new topic to clear my doubts.

S orry for the Long Post guys but it was necessary to write everything as I am really stressed. I would appreciate your Help and Guidance in this matter. Thanks in Advance for your Help!!!!

Dear Saiangel I just let you know in your case you don't have to notarise anything, just when you do your tax return tell accountant filing as a single only for tax purpose. So then that accountant has to put a note that spouse is not us resident. This is more legal way to file.

Thanks Dr.uk....my Last two tax returns are filed as single ...because my accountant told if my spouse is not the resident of US it dosent matter if I file single or married...Is it true?

It is almost 18 months since you got NOA1. In USCIS website, it says Vermont average processing time for F2A is 16.5 months. I think you can file a Service request to USCIS.

If i have to call USCIS..Then Let me tell you I have called 2 times but they are saying I am under normal processing time. please let me know what should I Do further?

I am approved.........Not. Just saying it since you wanted to hear it. But seriously they have not approved anyone from feburary, nobody posted their approval who are from feb.

Yes you are right... Nobody from Feb 2011-VSC has received Approval till now.

we had a same problem and we made a correction on 4020 form and changed to married filing separately.

I am a F2A Category filer. I got married in November 2010 and I filed for my husband in feb 2011. After that I filed my Tax returns as single for the Year 2010 and 2011. Also my Paycheck is ran as Single status. Please let me know will there be any problem in future while filling I-864A (Affidevit of Support) for my husband. If there will be any problem please let me know the solution for my Problem. I am VSC filer and haven't received my NOA-2 yet.

Has your petition been approved yet? Just curious if VSC processing dates are moving at all.

I don't think anyone here can tell you when you will be current. Anything is possible, but I wouldn't expect 2011 priority dates to become current before 2013.

Hi...I called USCIS as per your guidance...they said that currently they are processing Cases on or before 01/09/2011 and I am still under normal processing time. she said to call again after 1 Month. Thanks

your case it within USCIS - Vermont's Processing time. As of March 20, 2012 they are processing cases files on/before January 9, 2012. Some adjudicators may wrk faster than others so if you see some one after you get an approval then don't be alarmed. you are free to contact the post and initiate a service request. this allows USCIS to contact the location the has your case to provide you with a case up-date.

I am LPR and I filed for My husband and our PD is Feb 3 2011. I haven't Received Approval of our Case yet.

I am really worried about this case as I saw many Jan/Feb 2011 Members have received their approvals. Please guide me through this and what is the next step I should take. I am really Worried about my Case. I checked my case status and is still under Initial Review.
