7 months since AOS is filed still no update! should I be worried?

Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks so much to everyone who offered help, answered questions and provided words of encouragement. Can't wait for mon amour to arrive in the US.

Been so long! hope everyone is doing good. We both are very happy and all I want is to know what the hell is happening with my AOS? 6 months no update on interview.

I have just found a dress for our wedding celebration with our families and his friends all coming over. and we're getting ready for the holidays and looking at homes for us

daniel really needs to drive more

bit bummed, daniel can't start work cause they have to do a background check and they have to get it back from the embassy and it hasn't gotten here yet

we had our interview ! the lady said that as long as everything looks good, she wants to look at the file again? he should get his green card in 2 weeks. I was really nervous, and we didn't have to show her much. She asked Daniel all the questions on the form we already sent to them, and showed them pictures we brought, and proof of him being here like on the bank acct and stuff. feeling much better now !

Getting all the interview stuff printed out and organized, kinda nervous !!

so my mom took daniel down to the secretary of state today, as he hasn't driven before ever he took a test and passed with flying colors! now he has 30 days of driving with someone before he gets his license hooray

daniel got his SSN today ! Well, got it sorted, he should have it soon ! And he has already started looking for a job. Things are going great ! And I am so relieved, I only hope the interview goes just as well !

chris startd his new job today! i am so proud of him.

I feel like a weight has been lifted off our shoulders ! Daniel got his EAD Card today with no warning whatsoever. I didn't get a text or e-mail or anything. Tomorrow we are going to get his SSN straightened out and he is already looking for jobs. So happy ! Now to get ready for our interview date next month !

come on EAD, I hope you're getting close !

for those of you who are having a celebration after getting married, if you didn't have a wedding, what are you calling it? I'm unsure of how to have our invites and think we need to say its a vow renewal?

Combo card EAD/AP received! Time to update my SS card, resolve my driver's license problem, and... find a job!
