    Hey VJ friends!! It's been a while since I've been on so I'm sorry to my friends who have reached out to me. My husband and I are separated, things didn't work out unfortunately. However we just had a beautiful babygirl on 10/29/2013. So for the sake of our daughters we have decided to remain friends. Hope all is well with you guys!

    I am planning on traveling with my step-daughter in April with her AP. I'm going to leave her in D.R. for about 2-3 months with her mother and she will come back with her grandmom (my mother in law). Is this possible? If so, what are the requirements?

    literally haven't called since I sent the AOS package in, and Idk what made me call today but I got a nice surprise! AP & EAD were approved and should be expected in the mail next week!! Thank God!!!

      Just found out my husband's EAD was approved today! No notification I also just happened to look on USCIS website! Congrats! Hopefully our interviews won't be too far off

    this is some f****** bs!!!! How the hell is it possible that we still can't see the case online? I dont really care who is working on our case or about any processing times. How are other cases being sent to the same center (NBC) and they already got their biometrics? I feel like I'm going to blow up forreal. I've already waited more than enough since 2011. I'm sick of this bs

      Wow! you're absolutely right about that. even close interview dates one day apart lol. I seen people get their EAD/AP and still cant view their case online. I live in the NE so Im hoping to get in early and leave right out. thanks for the good wishes!! I can't wait for this process to be over :)

      I called and spoke to an agent yesterday about not being able to look up the case online. She didn't really offer any help with that, just the usual "just wait and call back in a month" but she did say that as of Dec 31st hey were only just processing cases from August in Philly. I'm really hoping that was just an estimate and that things are moving along. This process is driving me insane already. As long as the EAD comes quickly I can handle it though.

      Hey Molly! I have a few friends who already got their EAD/AP and still can't view the cases online. I stopped checking a month ago because VJ's estimate is pretty accurate. When we went for the biometrics, the rep said that she has seen some cases of people getting them 2 weeks after their Biometrics. Overall it's about a 2 month process. I'm sure you'll get the EAD in a few days! Best of luck

      I sent my I-130 on 10/16/12 and received the NOA1 on 10/23/12. I still have not received my NOA2. I took about 1 1/2 to see it online. Mine was also MSC.

      I heard they are backed up due to the elections and also due to Hurricane Sandy. For me it's rough, I have to travel back and forth from DR monthly

    On 01/17/2013 we received NOA1 text & email a few hours after my husband & I almost died in a car crash on the highway because of a trailer truck. We were on our way home from dropping off family members at the Newark Airport around 7 AM. Our car is destroyed, but the joy of being alive next to him is amazing. God is good my friends, never give up on the faith.

    Update: Hubby got his PA Driver's License on 01/02, almost ready to send AOS just need a few more evidence & we'll be set to go. Starting the new year off right! God is good. Blessings to all of my VJ friends!!!

      Yes I have everything ready lol!! For him and the baby, so that she can get her social security card asap. Now my question is, must I send 2 I-864? or just one because she is mentioned in the I-864

      Sorry for the late reply. The way the form is written, one seems ok. If you read Part 3. it asks you how many immigrant(s) you are sponsoring. Q9. You will fill in your husband and childs info. And in Part 5, make sure you fill in the correct numbers that represent the persons in your household. If you are still unsure, I would start a topic in the AOS section for more info. Try to avoid any RFEs.

    Despite the ups & downs of adjusting, hubby got his driver's permit on Saturday w/out filing for AOS. Going for his license in two weeks :)

      LaUnica, I was told 3 months and I was also told up to a year in PA. However, my hubby is very hard headed and is driving either way lol.
