In 2007 James and I met when I studied abroad for a semester at Lancaster University, UK. He lived next door to me and we became great friends. I left England in June 2007 but James and I kept in touch. In May 2010 we finally became a couple and spent the first few months dating via skype, e-mails, texts, messenger, and letters. In October 2010 I went to England to see James and it was the first time we saw each other in person again since I left Uni 3 years earlier. Being together again was the most natural thing. James came to America in April 2011 and we got engaged that May. We decided that James would come to live in America with me and after my last visit to England in the fall we submitted our K-1 petition in November of 2011. We are anxiously awaiting the day that James finally comes to America and we can get married.
