My wife had her medical exam done back in September at the Health Care Center of Guangdong International Travel on Huali Road, Zhujiang New City, Guangzhou. Transportation and appointment scheduling were handled by the same company from her city. It was 60RMB one way. She got to the clinic around 9:30am and was out the door by 10:30am. Just your basic checkup: blood tests, height and weight measurements, blood pressure, color recognition, vision and hearing tests, X-ray, body temperature, stethoscope check.
They gave her four shots: Td, Varicella, MMR and Influenza (flu). She was told to come back in six weeks for another round of shots.
The total cost was 1195 RMB plus 120RMB for transportation.
They wanted to make sure that you're all right after the shots so she had to sit there for a few more minutes. She received one yellow booklet but an extra booklet was not available on request.
She picked up the sealed medical exam results envelope two days later at the transportation company.
Hope this is helpful.

I just started the electronic processing leg of the NVC process for the CR1.
Our DS 3032 that was already accepted. I paid the AoS bill and it posted.
Can I send the i-864 now or do they need to send an email asking for it?
I also have scanned copies of the required and supplemental AoS info and the i-864 and the Ds230.
According to the NVC faq I only need to submit a copy of 1 year tax return and/or w2. I plan to also add a letter of employment, 2 pay stubs and my 2010 returns + w2 and my 2009 Return only. There is nothing here that is really original besides the letter and paystub but these documents are not stated as required. So do I need to send them to China and/or just the original signed i-864EZ or nothing but PDFs for my wife to print?
She has all the original ID stuff for the IV application. I am just concerned about losing what I send in the mail.
You need to have the GZO######## number first. The GZO number tells you that your case has been changed from paper to electronic. Once you have the GZO number then you email the AOS/I-864 PDF.
Did you email them the OPTIN EP email letter? You got your AOS invoice email right?
For the AOS package, you need: AOS coversheet printed off from the payment portal, cover letter explaining what's in the package, I-864 or I-864EZ, tax transcripts, employment letter, paystubs.
I sent the tax transcripts of 2011, 2010 and 2009. Or you can send 2010 and 2009 transcripts along with 2011 tax return plus W2.
Everything is sent via email to NVCElectronic@state.gov if you're doing EP.

Hey - that was super duper fast. I am so happy for you and yours !
It's a plus when that 'special hidden queue for GZO scheduling' works as it's supposed to...
Thank you Darnell. The hardest part of this journey still awaits us.

Is that October date the date on the email? If so, that is the date of document intake, the interview will take place the following day.
Yes, that is the date on the email. I see, thank you for the clarification.

-

I called NVC to check on the status of my case last night. Right after the call I received an email that my IV package email was accepted. Then this morning I got the email that stated:
"Dear Sir/Madam:
All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.
The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.
The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.
Regards,
NVC Document Review Team

I think the interview date is near.
-
Congratulations fting!!!
-
woo hoo !
Now here's my prediction for Cousin Acto ..
Thursday of next week, you'll have a case complete.
Monday of the following week, you'll have the emailed appointment letter.
--
NB - I only predict GZO casefiles.
I hope that you're right Darnell. But I'll give them a few more days or even one more week to finish and email the appointment letter.
-
Just got an email this morning that they have received the AOS file and it will take 20 business days to review. It took them 5 business days to receive the email.
The IV file was sent out last night after the status changed from IN PROCESS to PAID.
-
for the payment portal, please use IE 8 on a winders pc.
I did use IE8 and it timed out. Today, the portal says it was REJECTED so I had to resubmit. I didn't get a Transaction ID yesterday for that timed out payment.
-
IN PROCESS is a good sign, la.
did you finally switch over to using IE8 on a winders pc, or not?
I mainly use Firefox and Chrome, and IE for certain occasions on my MS-DOS pc.
-
I received the IV invoice email today. The applicant's name under IV Application Processing Fees disappeared over the weekend so I was hoping to get the invoice today.
After entering the information and clicking the button to pay it timed out. I hope it goes through as it is saying IN PROCESS.
-
that stuff isn't in the casefile, it's in HIS hands.
Want to get it INTO the casefile? Submit it with the DS-230.
Why get it into the casefile, you ask? Why, so an IV Officer can review it prior to interview day.
-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=
blech. need to chase that down. I sense you have a timing issue, somehow, or
NVC is really backlogged for finding emails.
have you re-read Ryan's topic about what he did during NVC Electronic Processing?
that is such great news ! See? Getting a Supervisor is useful ! Congratulations !
Thanks again Darnell, you're a savior!

I finally got a response email from them, not what I wanted to see.

I spoke to a supervisor and the supervisor will look into it and call me back. This after trying to OPTIN electronically 8 days ago.
All right! The supervisor called me back half an hour later. Now I have my GZO number and DS-3032 was accepted, whew!!!

She must've been the same operator I got around 9:30 this morning. She wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor.
As suggested by Darnell, I tried to get a supervisor to look for my email, but to no avail.
So I fired off an email with "SUPERVISORY REVIEW with my case number" subject line.
Let's see if I get a response.

It took 6 calendar days in my case for the switch from paper to electronic to take place, so what you are experiencing is not unusual. In your case, the switch should occur sometime between now and the end of the week.
Thanks Ryan. I hope you're right.
