YES, they are under 14 years old. i filed ead and the i485. we did not receive their biometrics appointment we only received my wifes biometrics. that is why im wondering if they will receive a biometrics appointment letter.

can wife travel with mexican passport as id within usa states. aos has been filed received notice of action so far

sounds like you guys are correct. Illinois makes it tough to get a drivers license and state id. they said she as to wait until her ead arrives.

was anyone able to get an Illinoise license with 797c for EAD and 797c for i485 ?

on august 17 received noa1s for 485 and 765... im happy.

still have not received noa2 or check has been cashed. just gotta be patient

i hope for the best. aos was a tougher one but atlease we did not have to go to ciudad juarez. our journey has been tough just like everyones journey here.

the k1 visa journey will test your relationship like no other journey.hang in there keep your selfs busy with other things so that you dont focus to much on k1. your time will come just be patient.

i translated the mexico birth certificates and used this statement at the bottom of the page. Is this good enough?

when wife gets greencad under married name does she have to change her mexico passport to reflect maiden name? will she have to get a newpassport fom mexico?

her passport has maiden name in mexico after she gets greencard is that invalid will she be able to travel or willshe have to change her passport in mexico toher married name in confused

i am sending 3 pictures from dating, 3 pictures from wedding. is that enough for aos adjusment from k1 visa

one last question. in Illinois they don't give you a state id unless you show you files for aos. so she has been using her maiden name for bank accounts and other institutions. the only place where she has been going by married name is on her social security card. i just dont want to get my petition denied for filing it incorrectly. thanks for your patience and help

i filed the i 485 with my last name i am the husband. she signed the documents using my last name.

ok thanks so her maiden name is perla maria fernandez rodriguez and on her marriage certifcate it reads perla maria fernadez rodriguez. my last name is gutierrez. so she would sign perla maria guitierrez on the i485???

thanks for the update. when i filled out the i485 i put down my last name witch is her new married name, but she signed the i485 with her old maiden name signature that is on file with last years approved k1 visa.

how did you guys sign the i 485 documents? did you use husbands new last name? or did you sign them using your old maiden name from befor you got married?

wife came here on k1 visa. her marriage certifcate shows her maiden name but her social security card shows her married name?

i filed aos and ead only. i did not file for Advance parole. i did not want to risk them rejecting the complete application since the 180 days were overstayed.

thanks i will follow the guide. im the us citizen filling out the paper work for wifes k1 visa. i just wanted to verify with the experts here if the us citizen needed to submite any other paper work besides financials.
