  1. After 5x of checking the USCIS website today, my fiance got surprised to see our case approved on his 5th try. He called me earlier today to tell me the good news. I was surprised coz we were expecting NOA2 on 27th to 31st of July.. God is really good. Just keep praying guys and Im hoping to hear good news from all of u soon! :)

COngratulations.. :) The first thing i did after reading this was to check ours LOL.. no changes yet but who knows ours will be next. ;)

  2. Mr Pangga here:

OK I called BOTH the 1 800 829 1040 # and the 1 800 908 9946 # both went to same place the latter # got you there a little faster. I called them both and entered all my requested data and waited 10 business days. 15 business days later I got nothing so I did it again and again 15 business days later I got NOTHING but 6 weeks wasted time. I went to www.irs.gov and did this ONLINE then did the online survey and told them how the 800#'s failed me too. Well you guessed it... 15 business days later I got NOTHING! @$%*@&^$*#%@#&$!!!

So I called the first 800# then pressed Zero to operator and was on Hold and listening to recordings for nearly 25 minutes. The guy answers says his name and employee # then "How may I redirect your call?" I tell him all above and then says he will transfer me to someone who will fax it to me in real time. GREAT :)

So another 20 minutes of listening to recordings and then lady answers the phone with her name and employee number. I repeat the above facts, she then gets my SSN, Name, Address, Birthday. She says then says what is the purpose for the Income Tax Transcripts? I say USCIS, Dept of Homeland Security and DOJ for VISA. She says please hold. 5 min later she asked where these filed by Mailed IN or Electronically for 2009, 2010 & 2011. I say 2011 & 2010 were electronic and 2009 was mailed in. Put on hold again. 10 minutes later she says she has found them and could they be faxed in the next 48 to 72 hours? I reply NO WAY not after all of this and nearly 2 moths of trusting your systems NO WAY. Also the guy who transferred me said they would be faxed real-time today!!! A long pause then I hear her exhale abruptly and say "I will have to walk to the printer now". I stayed on my cell phone while these were faxed to my home phone line and Fax Machine. Each year was about 7 pages so 21 pages later I have them :)

DO NOT WAIT UNTIL your NOA#2 then start to get these you might be severely delayed. Yes many have had the 800# work for them... But I would try it once then do website same day then 15 business days later you got nothing then see above. GOOD LUCK :)

  3. IvyandDan,

I do not directly know but I have seen this information at a website and I will try not to break any rules here, yet get you some information. See: wwwdotlivingincebudotcom there is a Military Section and Many retire military on the website too. Hope this is better than nothing :). Mr Pangga still in the Service 8,000 miles from the RP.

  4. Hello all, an update from my last post. My girls NBI came back and it's all good - yea! But now of course there are other problems and I have some new questions.  My girl has never gotten a philhealth card or SSS card in the Philipinnes and for years has been using a postal ID to get around (she has worked as a live in nanny forever and never needed anything other then the postal ID).  When she went to apply for her passport she was told she needed the philhealth card, a SSS and even a student ID to apply, and the kicker is she was told it will take 3-4 months to get these, and then a another month for the student ID - ouch!!  She got real confused and frustrated and of course I'm back home and no help at all.  My question this time is are these time frames real?  Was she told the right information? Are there any other ways to get these documents quicker or am I just stuck and have to wait?  Any insight about would be great.  My girl has zero experience with this stuff and is just relaying what she is told.  Thanks in advance for your help.

I don't know if this will help. Base on my experience 10yrs ago, you only need to present at least 2valid identification. It could be student ID, SSS, Philhealth, sorry i cant remember what else. But on my experience i didn't have SSS, Philhealth nor student ID. I presented my postal ID, yearbook with my photo and name on it and address, NBI, NSO Authenticated Birth Certificate.

My advise is you ask your fiancee to go to BIR-Regional Office in Mandaue and get her TIN ID.. i got my TIN ID very fast. Just don't be shy to ask someone there. Then ask her to go to Philhealth Office. I got my Philhealth in a day. I just filled up a form and payed at the counter Php1200.00(in my case i opted to pay 1 year advance).. You can register online also in Philhealth but i advise to just go to their office and fill up PMRF form and pay.. Sorry if this is not complete. But i hope i had given you some idea. Better yet she can go to DFA and copy the list of requirements there.

  5. Woooo good timing on this topic.. We had a knockdown drag out on this money topic. All is well now and we love each other the more we learn and openly discuss items. My fiancee works and earns. She did take a little bit less paying job in March so I told her I would send her $50 a month to help cover her internet and food. She really only needs about 25 5o offset her wage difference but I cannot send less than $50 unless someone knows a different route versus Xoom or WU???

She is oldest and now gives her parents 500-1000p monthly.. I am okay with this and will always budget the $50 to send there even when she is here. I have learned to always make, really anyone but Filipinos in generel believe 1000p or 20 dollars is alot of money.. And with family 5000p at Xmas is enough as it is more than double what they would have been able to celebrate with. Now if I hit the lottery or get back to my 2010 wages then we can afford to do more but still not spoil. I explained to my fiancee that we need to put back money here in reserve for her parents medical and for her (my fiancee) to have airfare in the event her folks get sick or worse. Now her parents are not old so we have time,,,, but one never knows.

We do openly discuss budgets. She has viewed my budget and understands. We have even discussed HER saving as she wants a baby. I am 46 and raised my son's but will go along with her wishes as I love her. Cheapest to do invetro is in Vietnam as I had vasectomy (how did we get off topic lol) so she needs to work and save $5000 for this.. Covers it all even airfare....

As for shopping. GoodWill has great deals on name brands. My buddies filipina wife loves to shop there..

Okay we have now covered BBQ which I love and vascetomys lol... I pity the nice man that started this post lol....

  6. Hello everyone! i hope you are all well, here is my story of my interview yesterday at the

US embassy,manila...May 7th booked hotel in ermita,so i can be there early,i woke up at 2am

get ready, just before i left at the hotel i check my documents and make sure i have everything i need,i Prayed for guidance and called my honey.

Exactly 3:15am i arrived at the US embassy,

there was people already waiting at the foot bridge,i thought i will be the first one lol...

they got there 2am wow!!!so i sit and waited, there's a vendors selling food and telling you

if you have gadgets you can leave it with them for a fee of 150pesos.then around 4 something

the vendors told us to fall inline,i been standing for 2 hours :crying:

Girls,if your wearing heels better bring flip flops but only if somebody with you so,

you can leave it when you go inside embassy.then about 6 something the guard told us to fall

inline there first priority are senior citizen and family with kids.then, the staff wearing

blue shirt will asked you of your Appointment confirmation(1st page)2 copy of DS156,DS157

1 copy DS156k,Passport they will give you a plastic to put you passport.they will asked

you what ST lukes gave you.then we go in security check our belongings

and again, any gadgets is not allowed even USB,food and water is not allowed,

But they are selling food inside, then we got in and again fall inline for that window will

give you your priority number, once you are inside the Building the first thing is you will

drop your papers at window 39,(this are the papers were the staff wearing blue shirt outside

arranged it for you before you get in).once you drop your papers watch the queuing board

Numbers changed randomly, base on my experienced i was interviewed first by filipino consul

at window 49,he asked for my Birth certificate, cenomar,NBI,Passport,as he is encoding some data he asked me question who is my petitioner, when and where did we met,how many times he

visited me,then,he asked my fiance's I134,W2,ITR,then again he ask if we have

chat's,email so i show him my huge paper of YM Chats,Emails,Skype Chat logs he said wow!

ok ok i believed you...lol he didn't bother to check it but it's really better to have more

than enough, then he asked our pictures together then asked me when are we going to marry

i told him June 16,and that my fiance's parents book the venue for us.he write down everything particularly my answer.he told me that everything is good that i can take a sit

and wait,i told him i haven't done my finger scan yet so he said,oh ok ok...then again my

number flash on the queuing board for window 40 finger scan, the american lady in that

window is nice and friendly.Girls, always greet the consul and wear your best smile :)

i was done in 7a.m for pre-interview,finger scan so i sit and waited for my final interview with the US consul. i keep on praying...actually,the US consul window open at 8a.m. but my

number never called til like 9 something so i was setting for 2hrs, waiting...

then the moment came,my number flash on the board window 64,she's like chinese she is

really nice, she asked my name,my fiance's name, when and where did we met,how many times

he visited me,if we are married before, she saw my previous work on DS156k in kuwait if i

commit any crime,i said no.and asked me when did he proposed to me,

and when are we planning to get married, she interview me in less

than 5 minutes, that was really fast.and the last thing i heard from her was your paper looks

good and that i'm approving your Visa,Congratulations!!! i was in tears when i heard that

it's a tears of joy!...God did answer my prayers...i say Thank you to her many times...

so again i sit and waited at the last window 71,the filipino who is in that window ask my name and check my papers then told me where i want my visa to be delivered

i told him for pick up in SM center...and he give me back my appoinment confirmation

with a stamp BIO F/P DONE and dated it.so i walk out US embassy with a big smile on my face Thank GOD!!! thank you guys for all the support and prayers!!!

sorry guys if this really long i just want to detailed my experienced in my interview and

share it with you all...like what i said in my previous post "Prayers bring Miracles"...

keep on praying and believed that you deserve this, apply that law of attraction what

you are attracting to your life is definitely will be yours...stay positive...

and always seek God's guidance...Thank you all! Good luck to us...and God Bless us always!

Above you were asked for your fiance I-134, W2 & ITR. What is an ITR?

    TY :) Mr Pangga

  7. Thanks for the link reginakrys. I wonder why we got I-797C twice and on 2nd it has A# (Alien#) but without the magic word "Approved".. Hope there's someone out there with same experience. Ugghhh wish its monday already so we can call USCIS..

  8. your situation is hard to say. You note the second I-797C is not on security paper. And looks nothing like a Notice of Action. It could be a duplicate notice. But either way I would be on the phone to USCIS asking what the letter I got in the is, and what it means. Also asking if there is an RFE, or is there a hold while checking evidence, or is the case pending on a desk, or is an ajudicator assigned to the case. You could have approval, you could have RFE or you could have nothing. The case could have moved from one ajudicator to another causing a second issuance of the first notice of action.

But calling UsCIS does not hurt. the key is asking is the case approved, or still pending approval, and if there is a request for evdence is an issue with ajugication. Ask for facts only. Best way to get answers.

Yeah Pangga will definitely call on Monday. Today's Sunday here in Philippines and Saturday night in his time. I just hope its not something for an rfe.. Thanks guys, we'll come back here and let you know what ever that is.

    God bless.

  9. always pay attention to the form and what is said. Strange it would generate another I797C... I would contact hte USCIS and verify the reason for a second notice. If the second notice is not on security paper (green sheet or something similar) I would be looking for RFE or documents needed or something. Generally, RFE letters are not on security papr. The I-797c and I-797 look very very very similar. However, the I-797 approval notice

Check out this page for images and differences:

    NOA images

It's sad to think an RFE is coming. But how come on the 2nd I-797C there's given A# (Alien#)?? Don't you think its positive indication?

  10. Yes so it looks like it's not a NOA2, but another NOA1...

Are you a naturalized US citizen? My fiance is, and we have his old A# on our NOA1. There are our 2 A# on our NOA2.

BTW, the link you sent has some small mistakes (some pages on VJ are not up to date so it's possible to find old info). For example, NOA1 is I-797C and NOA2 is I-797, the link doesn't say that.

Sorry it's not an approval notice... I agree that's confusing that you received 2 times a NOA1!!

Problem is that now you have 2 notices with 2 Notice date 1 month apart. I would inquire and call USCIS to know what happened and hope your case won't be delay of one month now!

Does your first NOA1 say the same thing, meaning that they received your case?

Yes a Natural US Citizen so no A# for me. this will be Her A#.

Regarding 1 month delay? I do not think so the first I-797C is on Security Paper and the Second I797C is NOT on security paper.

Just the New NOA#1.5 folks. She is HAPPY with the A# and NOA#-1.5 :) You know if she is happy everybody is Happy!!!

    TY all. God Bless :)

  11. Quick question, do you see the word "approval" or "approved" in this new notice? If not, that's not a NOA2.

    Folks,

This is a full page (too much to re-type here):

    1. First line says: "Receipt Notice - This notice confirms that USCIS received yur application or petition ("this case") as shown above"

    2. I do not see "Approved"

    3. The VJ Link above clearly states about the A# being added is the NOA#2. yes I realize NOA#2 is a VJ Term. I WISH VJ to rewriet or reword the LINK above about the A# so this does not confuse others too

TY :) Simply looking like a NOA#1 with the A# Added on another I797C. My NEW TERM IS NOA#-1.5 LOL

  12. Mr Pangga here,

I just received a Second I-797C (Notice of Action). this looks very similar to my First I-797c (Notice of Action) Received Date 15 March and Notice Date 19 March.... This SECOND I-797C has added the AXXX XXX XXX and the same Received Date 15 March but also has NOTICE Date 20 April. Both from CSC.

    this link says NOA#2 (I think) http://www.visajourney.com/faq/k1k2visa-I129f.html#3.1

Sunshine is peeing her pants right now with JOY & Happiness. I hope she is right, but seems WAY-TOO-FAST for me. Also I DID NOT ask for expedite.

    What do you guys think???

    TY :) God Bless

  13. Hi! Good day.I am a wife of a US army, we got married a yr ago here in the Phil. We mailed in papers for I-130 last yr but we did not get any reply or confirmation at all. We again re-filed and mailed it overnight to Chicago lockbox...I would have like to know usually how long it takes before we get a confirmation that the papers we sent in has been looked at or processed and after that what is the next step.....I hope somebody can enlighten me on all these processing, I don't know, I seem to find it confusing but so far though as I got on here, which is just very recently, Ive been reading and getting information from here which is very helpful...Im so glad to be here on VJ.

    Mayang M

As a "Older" Soldier myself, I think YOUR SOLDIER needs to be asked these questions. I can not imagine going through this process and NOT being 100% INFORMED by MY SPOUSE!!! Also some here are good at pasting the right links for your situation.

  14. [

Hello everyone its was a big surprised to received RFE when you have send all the needed papers and requirements . . and all they want is an ID picture of my husband . . but i guess they have overlooked it with all the papers . . we are sending back RFE tomorrow i hope it will be faster this time . .

Just an idea that might help others. I stapled a second blank page to back of the G-325A. The Second Blank page I had again stapled a ZIP=LOCK BAG and then added the Photo In the Zip Lock Bag. This should help them from losing the tiny 2" x 2" Pictures! HOPE THIS HELPS future filers! :) Mr. Pangga

  15. You can apply for a new passport "if u want".:-)

I thought about that before but my fiance thought its not good idea. Being truthful and honest is the best. We wanted to have an honest relationship and to always tell the truth. I just hope during interview they won't judge me because of my past failed relationship.

I had called the Royal Norwegian Embassy and inquired about the status, (expecting my ex fiance had cancelled already) unfortunately its not. So i had written a request letter to cancel it just in case.

Thanks for the input VJer's :) really appreciate it. And most especially for not judging me. Really appreciate it. God bless us all VJer's. :)

  16. Considering it's been over a year between the break up of the first relationship and filing for the second, I doubt there will be major issues, but they may ask you a few questions at the interview.

Thanks Penguin_ie for the reply. at least i don't have to worry that much about it.

  17. Once again i need your help VJer's.

Year 2010 I applied for fiance visa in Royal Norwegian Embassy in Manila, Philippines. Dec 28, 2010 the Norwegian Embassy stamped on my passport they received the application. January 2011 i received a text from my fiance that he's together with his ex wife again. I wanted to cancel the fiance visa application but going to Manila is a bit expensive. And so i let it be.And moved on. October 2011 i met my current boyfriend online. He visited me Feb 2012. And we're together for 3weeks. Now he's back in US and going to fill up I-129F, then i can apply K1 visa. My concern now is, will the stamp on my passport affect my K1 visa application??? My fiance advised me, if ever CO ask me about it, is to tell the truth which i agree totally. But I'm also afraid they'll make it difficult for me then.

    Please VJer's help me.

  18. Thanks guys for all your input. Really appreciate it a lot. Am glad my fiance found this site.

Ooppss I learned that before asking i should have search coz most of my questions have been answered already here. And i had read that its best to take cenomar a month before interview. So i'll take that advise then. Thank you all... :)

  19. Thanks Hank_Amy for the reply. Sorry for not so precise. It's still been 6 days my fiance got home from his visit here. He's still at work now. I got my cenomar as requirement for work abroad. Thought I could use it for our application but found out that cenomar has validity. Thanks for the links :)
