Okay, i have taken the oath and I am now a naturalized citizen. Good luck to everyone else who is still on the journey.
Congratulations!!!
Did they give you an option to apply for a passport the same day? If so, can you get it expedited?

Haven't been on in awhile but here is my update:
Received mail on May 15 for interview date of June 14.Day of interview, arrived 40 minutes early at NYC Federal Plaza building. My schedule was 10:20AM, but was called around 10:40AM.First was the English test which lasted for 2 minutes. The ISO office just asked me to repeat a sentence, and to write down the sentence.Second was the Civics test, got it right the first 6 questions. But I could remember only 5 of them.1. There were 4 amendments on who can vote, what was one of them.2. Who is in charge of the Executive Branch of the government.3. Who is next in line if the President can no longer serve.4. Why do some states have more representatives.5. What is one right from the first amendment.Third was, the ISO went line by line on my application form and asked the same questions again. Asked for more photos (luckily I brought more in addition to the ones in the application form). And asked If I brought passport photos which I did (thanks to this forum). Then the ISO said I passed the interview and civics test but he can't made a decision yet because he needs additional documentation. He gave me a list of additional docs to provide, like billing statements that shows both our names, my employment certificate showing who is listed as my "contact person in case of emergency", and any sort of documentation I can provide that shows spouse and I lived in the same home/address the entire duration since I received my residence permit (green card). This means any billing statements from 2013 the year I received my green card, until this year.He said I can return on the same day and submit the docs by the window or see him if I wanted to.So I went home and made a copy of our homeowners insurance which have our names on the document. Pulled out copies of past bills dated 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. Then stopped by at work to get an employment certificate indicating who is listed as my "contact person in case of emergency". Made it back to Federal Plaza in the afternoon and asked that I see my ISO again.ISO then asked me to come back into his office and checked my documents..... and congratulated me and asked me to step into the next office to get my swearing in schedule.I will be sworn in as an American citizen this Friday June 23!Please update my timeline as follows:May 15, received interview letterJune 14, interview dateJune 23, oathtaking
Good luck to everyone on the forum, and I appreciate all the help that I got and I will be happy to return the favor.

Forgive my ignorance, but how do we know where we filed? I live in NYC, does that automatically mean I filed at New York City office?

Update. They do send a tracking number, and it took 5 business days to arrive at my doorstep. Finally have my "green card" on hand. Now where do I update the spreadsheet?

Wrong forum
One purpose of my post, without being too in your face about it, was to let fellow July filers here know that today my status was updated to "Card Production". Secondary purpose was to ask if there was a tracking number that was given by USCIS. However, I got my answer from a friend saying that No, they don't provide tracking numbers.

July filer here. Interview with spouse in front of ISO was last Dec. 5, 2013 at NYC Federal Plaza. Today I got an update saying "Card/Document Production". "On December 16, we ordered production of your new card.. blah...blah...blah.... A few hours later, the update changed to:
"On December 16, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.
During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision."
Is there a way to check if there is a tracking number in the mail?

NYC office here as well. Interview at Federal Plaza with spouse was on Nov. 5, 2013. It was a fairly quick and easy interview. The ISO said he would forward a favorable recommendation. Now 3 weeks later, still no update on my case. USCIS website status still says "Testing and Interview" stage. My relatives were impacted by the typhoon in the Philippines (but fairly safe) and we sent a service request to expedite our process so I can go home and help with recovery and rebuilding. But that didn't help anything. Anyone else have any input or experiences on the NYC field office?

Are you adjusting your status? You should ask here then http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/130-adjustment-of-status-from-work-student-tourist-visas/
Yes, filed form I-130. I am the beneficiary of my spouse. thanks.

Hi there. My first posting here. I sent my application last June, but received my first NOA on July 11, 2013 thus I consider myself as a July filer. Have been through all the process already and had my interview with my spouse last Nov. 5. I believe the interview went well, the ISO said he will forward a favorable reccommendation but It has been 3 weeks and my case status still says "Testing and Interview" phase. Anyone else on the same boat as I am?
