I already made an appointment for my medical, it's one month before my interview. i hope it'll be OK.

oh as for my packet 4 date on my signature, it is the date I noticed our interview date on the embassy's website...

This is the beneficiary and I want to share my experience about my visa interview process. (Ankara does not send packet 3 or 4s but e-mails) We did not get a packet 4 email but when I visited embassy's site I see our case number and interview date. They obviously scheduled us which I am glad about but when I called in the American Hospital in Istanbul to get an appointment they told me the e-mail which the consulate sent me including my case number and interview date was going to be needed. And I was like :S

Is that OK if I show up without having this document? Will I still be eligible for the medical exam?

I know each country runs a different procedure, but still wondering our opinions.

It's been 10 days since our case was approved. We called NVC but they still didn't have the file. Is this normal?

I don't know if this has been asked before but citizens of Turkey have to be issued a visa for any kind of visit to the US. Even though it is just for tourism purpose. I am wondering what kind of visa should my parents and my sister apply to get to our wedding in the US?

My name has lots of Turkish letters but we just changed them as I just wrote above. Still got approved. Plus I have been issued several US visas and I was still be able to enter the country.

Hello everybody. I am the beneficiary and we got approved couple days ago, I was just wondering if there's anything that I should start preparing? Also what I wanted to know is that when Embassy receives the petition; will they call me or should I keep calling them. I don't wanna piss them off by calling everyday but I read on forums that some people just call the embassy and get an appointment and some say that beneficiary must wait for them to call.

And also when we were filing I129f there was this question asking where the beneficiary would apply for a visa abroad at the American embassy or consulate, and we said Istanbul but apparently the consulate in Istanbul doesn't do K visas, Ankara does them. oops Do you guys think this'll be a problem?

One last thing, did anyone from Turkey get an appointment recently? If so I would appreciate if you could just tell me when you are scheduled for.

I'm looking at everyone's visa timelines and 90% of the people that filed when I did got their NOA2 this is driving me crazy why why I'm sad all I want is my honey here with me almost three months and still nothing.
