I would really encourage everyone who is worried about Facebook to go and fix your privacy settings. It is possible to make your account unviewable unless a person has your exact user name and password. Or, to manage what people see. It's not necessarily true that if someone has your first and last name that they can find your Facebook account.
Also, I would equally encourage people who are in situations where their passwords might be requested (and who feel they can't refuse this request) to go through their accounts and delete everything that they do not want to be public information.
Our social networking accounts, no matter how private they may feel, should be considered to be public information.
