  1. islandgal, you're right.. it's not fair that there is such a huge difference between the two centers.. In this cases they should just transfer cases from one to another.. It's not so hard to get these thing through and done with.

Ridiculous.. 168 days for us :(

  2. They are even refusing requests after the 6 months mark!!! RIDICULOUS!!!!

Their system has gone totally wrong and they should do something about it!!! They cannot just deny what has been officially stated on their own website. At least change it, damn it!

That's misleading and simply a lie....

  3. Dustin & Mika, I am so so sorry to hear that. It must be so hard for you! I hope your NOA2 comes quicker than the rest of us!!! You have to get your family back!!!

As to the rest, thank you so much for the support guys. I know you know exactly how I feel..

I hope we get through this hell fast... Just so we can suffer the rest with our halves at least :)

  4. I don't know if someone already updated you guys, but anyways...

We called USCIS today because we are supposedly out of processing times as our NOA1 date is 14th February.

However, we were advised that Vermont is currently stuck on the date 9TH JANUARY, which makes us 36 days away from the "expected" NOA2 date..

I am so angry and disappointed, and sad, and everything... Is this what we get for choosing the legal way to do things? Is this how they motivate people to do so?

I am so happy for all these other couples that are getting approved on time, but honestly - it makes me shed a tear for every application I see approved with NOA1 date from March...

Sorry, this turned out to be a bigger vent than an update.

  5. We contacted our congressman today and we have 3 more days till the 5 month mark. Do you think this was a mistake?

We thought about it but with Vermount's speed things were not looking good for us so we decided to try.

It felt good actually, finally doing something for a difference =/

However, they took our details and advised us that they will get in touch with Tim tomorrow. Fingers crossed that we hear something else rather then - wait some more..

  6. I'll go crazy! It's our 2 year anniversary today and first of all, we can't spend it together, second of all, there's not the slightest chance we'll get approved soon looking at VSC speed... My approximate NOA2 date moved with a whole month since the beginning of the process..

All this is simply ridiculous. How can VSC be so behind? Shame on you people! You go to bed with the people you love, don't you?

    Well, we don't!

  7. It seems like they are catching up on the CR1 visas, there are a lot of approval there and almost nothing for the K1...

I hope they catch up on K1 as well, because it's really frustrating and depressing to see people with our NOA1 date getting approved and nothing for us... =/
