Not a problem! the most stressful part was just finding the right place to be.
-
They asked him where we met, when we met, how many times I came to visit him, where I work, where he is going to work if he knows yet, and how we communicate. The only proof of our relationship they even looked at was our pictures together. We were wayyyyy over prepared but i recommend it for your own piece of mind. The interview took only 7 minutes. He did wait in line from about 7 till 8:45am...

its official, as of today, our visa is APPROVED!!!

I leave next Fridayyyyyyyy so I am extremelyyyyyy stressed. But I organized all of the papers for the interview in a binder that is veryyyyy easy for Adolfo and the person interviewing them to navigate. I put all of the pages in sheet protectors, used a label maker to label each page so they know exactly what it is, and put labeled tab dividers in it. haha, a little over the top but easier for him

sorry for the late response. I have been SO busy trying to get things ready here for Adolfo. My main goal was to finish lose ends here in the states so that once he gets here I'm not working on any projects and have time to just enjoy him. I am working on getting all of his adjustment of status paperwork completed so we can file right away

I have like 30 questions I want to ask you, haha. since you just got back, how long did the medical take you? how long was the finger printing appointment? how long was the actual consulate interview? what kind of questions did they ask? how expensive in general is the food there? how long did the border crossing take? any other helpful tips or insight into the process you might have?

Its my birthday and I am using this day to schedule our consulate interview!!! I can't schedule until noon but it sounds like first week of April

Thanks! I was confused with that but figured that was what I should pick. So what if I have no way of getting his address between 1999 and 1995? He was 16 in 1995 so they want the whole time..... can I submit without those 4 years?

Do you know if I need to submit a DS-160 as well as the DS-260 for Adolfo? Another user sent me an email a long time ago with all of the things I need to fill out and I am trying to complete all of these forms but I feel like the DS-160 is the exact same as the DS-260.... just want to make sure before I submit it and confuse the consulate

Not at all! haha. I already paid my attorney (who is less than helpful) to help me until he gets here so she is currently working on what I need to submit to the NVC.... but no. I'm nervous, unsure, and doubting the process. haha

Last minute decision to fly to Mexico Thursday morning! Just booked my flight. So excited to see my fiance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on your NOA2!!! Hoping to get mine next week or at least very soon!
-
If I don't get my NOA2 by the end of next week I am spending my tax return on a sound proof room that I can go in daily to scream at the top of my lungs

I haven't seen Adolfo since October, praying he is back home next weekend so I can go to Mexico!

Waiting (impatiently) for our NOA2. Maybe checking for touches everyday isn't helping
