    Interview finally COMPLETED!!! That seemed to take way to long ... now pick up visa, buy plane ticket, and pick him up at airport!!!!

    My emotionally prepared husband arrives to the U.S. Consulate an hour early for his visa interview. Waits several hours for his appointment to finally be told that they can not locate his file. WTH!!!

    Waiting for NVC to enter my file into their computer ... then I can get my NVC Case # and start the next phase of document submittals.

      Ask for case number and immigration invoice number (need that to pay). A friend of mine got her NOA2 on May 10th. They just assigned her case number yesterday. It's slower than "usual", but it will happen.

    Just received email from USCIS that I-130 was approved and will be forwarded to NVC!!! ... yeah..... I will wait until receiving the written notice before I update my timeline.

      I printed the forms with the intent of doing them myself. Now I'm a little hesitant, because we're filing jointly(I have the W-7, notorized passport copy, and our letter) and I don't want to make a mistake!
