shayy17 got a reaction from 100% Al Ahly Fan in Leave in MENA pls
I think it's totally a personal decision and depends a lot on ur child's personality but I was born and raised in the States and lived in Egypt for a number of years and I think it was great. It's a fun country and I think your daughter would be fine in the schools there... But thats just my experience (and yes I did live there recently... even through the entire Jan 25 revolution, I only came to the States again last March)

shayy17 got a reaction from Krikit in Required to buy roundtrip ticket to enter USA?
Whoever stopped him doesn't know the difference between an immigrant and non-immigrant visa.. they just know that anyone going to the states has to have a two way ticket (probably not trying to scam him or anything just plain old ignorance and "following the rules")
I would say it would be hard to convince that person but if he had tried to take it to a higher authority right there without purchasing the return ticket he would have found someone who knew that he didnt need it.
