He's going to wait until after the Olympics are done to do the medical exam. He lives outside of London, so going now would be dealing with crowds of people/tourists.

My fiancé hasn't received the letter yet, but when I called DOS yesterday, it was just being dispatched, so he'll likely receive it early next week.

More than likely, your case was with mine...sitting in the CSC's mailroom for the past month. One of my senator's immigration staffers contacted the USCIS on my behalf last week and learned that fact. It was *just* mailed to the NVC last Thursday.
