Hi all -

I filed late in July. I just got my notice that my EAD cards were being produced. However, this morning, I received notice that my I-485 card was being produced as well.

Is this a mistake? We have not had an interview.

Hi Pearson,this is not a mistake.You will not have an interview..This is good news to the July filler who have not recieved an interview letter yet..Our Green Cards will be produced soon..THIS IS GOOD NEW...yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

we all hope we get an interview soon cos thats is a faster way...lol

For those of us who filled in july and has still not received our interview letters,all i can say is that its well.We might not have an interview and we might not wait for the 9-12 months cos things are really moving fast these days..when my brother applied for AOS last 2 years,he waited until 7 months for his interview letter and many waited for same period but now people are receiving their interview letters in just 2-3 months and that so quick....so lets keep our fingers crossed and wake up one day to check out status and see GC in production....But if u are part of this group and u have not reveived you EAD/AP,u should consider calling the USCIS...Cos it now 2 months not 3 anymore

I will advice you move on with your life.If u want to file for a divorce go ahead so that you can be legally able to marry again..I will not advice you try to do anything to the man you once loved no mater how much he hurts you..There is one thing you should know.What goes around comes around..If he thinks he took you for a fool,He will face his actions cos it will bounce back at him..Dont worry urself again.Just file for the divorce and move on with your life.I know it hurts but keep on moving on..God be with you

I just recieved my EAD/AP combo card..NOA is july 10 and RFE on the aUgust 9th....USCIS recieved REF on august 19th...Nothng on my AOS for now.

when i went for my interview i took all u sent and even more...Reciepts of our hotels,reciept of our engagement ring..and we had one big engagement of about 300 people...so the pics said it all...the order and the package of your evidence is also very important..I think you can contact your congress man and file a motion for the case to be reopen other than starting a new application..You can choose to marry in Ghana as well and apply for CR1.I understand how u feel..i wish you strength in times like this...Good Luck

My EAD has finally been approved and is in production also! AOS is still in RFE response review, but whatever…I'm so thrilled

Am happy for you.....i think we are in the same situation cos my GC is still in the initial response.Most of our friends in the july filers tread have their interview letter..I believe we might not get an interview meaning ours might take some time.However lets keep our fingers crossed and see whats in for us

What was your RFE for? I forgot to include a copy of my sponsor's passport to prove that he is American and can legally earn money.

I just check my case status again…EAD and AP still in initial review :-/

my RFE asked about the most recent tax form..we forget to include that..It also asked for the pays stubbs and letter of employemt..

Does anyone here have any experience with RFEs? My RFE response was received on August 17th, and there has not been an update since. Of course when I called them just now, they told me that I have to give them 60 days from the day my response was received.

yes..i had an RFE on the 9th of August and they received it on the 19yh..my EAD and AP is in the Card production stage on the 6th of sepmtember///NOA was on the 10th of july....

You can expedite the AP but not the EAD..you will have to send proofs of why its urgent for you go back home to the USCIS and if its laudable enough they will approve your request very fast.Note that you prrofs should be convincing enough..Personal entertainment resason will not be accepted and it will even cause a delay in your normal time of approval..Get the prrofs and add a cover letter,and call the USCIS and they will direct you where to send those documents...Its usually sent to your local CIS office But i will advice you still call the customer service and take directions from them..br prepared to wait for hours for this call....Thank you

i filled K1 AOS on the 9th of july and had my biometrics on the 9th of august..RFE on the 9th of august...replied it and my online status changed to inform me they ve recieved the RFE responsein just a day..hoping to hear whats next.

Did u take all your shots before coming to the states?If nt then u need to take your shots...Well i had 2 shots more to take but all my physical was done again cos the doctor adviced me to...

I will advice you wait patiently for the marriage cert to arrive...Its rather unfortunate cos south Carolina is just three days and u get the full liscence ready...The USCIS will not make any decision on your AOS,AP or EAD application if all reguired documents are not submitted...Dont even dream of recieveing an RFE before sending in the Liscence cos after you reply the RFE it can take months and months for USCIS to even touch your file and continue for process for you...So pls endure the one month wait and get your marriage liscence and send it in once and for all.....All the best in your Journey...God be with you

I-130 is when u are already married to the USC....if u are not married but just fiancess u will have to apply usung the I-129f...If u have a child less than 18,and u will be travelling with that child,u will see a porting on the I-130 (IF MARRIED) to fill for your child.OR I-129F(if not married to the USC yet)...BUt if the child is an aldult and u will be travelling with that child then u will have to fill the 1-129f SEPERATLY for the child to file a K3 visa for that child.

There is no problem at all..You can fi;ll the AOS without the SSN..all u need is your alien number...the initally SSN u have can never change but u need to go the SS office to update your infomation in the system...there is no cause for alarm

PLS isnt the Tax transcript from IRS,PAYSTUBS FOR THE LAST ONE YEAR,AND LETTER OF EMPLOYEE enough to proof sufficent income?do i need W2 again?

yes i sent only the tax forms...NO PAY CHECK,NO LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT and all that...am turning all that in now...

No she has no kids...am her first man..and am the only one she has every filled affidative support form for..that was during the K1 visa processs and we ve past that level...we are Adjusting status.

thank you all for your answers...We are planning on sending a new I-864 form and send in another proof of the most recent federal tax transcript form,letter from employment and pay stubs...Hope we are cool cos am scared of denial...I dont want to contact a lawyer...they are too expensive

Hi Adam,pls let the house know what happend to your case..Did they recieve your update I-864 in good faith? Or u were still asked to show assets?

Hello fellows...My wife earns 33,240USD annually...Is that not enough for household size of 2?i have an RFE stating the income is insufficient so i should shoe proofs or assets to supplement the income or get a joint sponsor? Is this right? Did i made a mistake on my I-864 forms that might have increased my Household size?

hello to you all.....I just recieved an RFE inicating that i need to proove evidence of extra assets to suppliment my wifes income cos her income was insufficient..However,upon reviewing my Afidavit form again,i realised i made a mistake on the form and that caused an increased in the HOUSEHOLD SIZE which made my wifes income insufficient.Now,if the mistake is rectified on affidavit form,her income will be more than enough for a household size of 2.What do i do now?Do i need to file another Affidavit of support and include a cover letter to explain the mistake i did on my form? Pls i need your help...Thanks

I had the same RFE but iwas a due to a mistake i did when filling the I-864.this mistake cuased an increase in the HOUSEHOLD SIZE,and that made my wifes income ineligible..But i called USCIS and explianed myself.They want to me send a new form and rectify the mistake i did earlier..If u think ur wifes income was good enough at the time of filling,then pls check the total household size u have and make sure u had the right number...If u check and you had no mistake on it,u then need to refile the form

There is no course for alarm....However,u should have waited until Ur fiancee receives the packet from the embassy before going in for the medical test...The test will only be valid if its still within 6 months prior to the interview date...If the date you receive on the appointment letter don't fall withing the 6 months period,am afraid u will have to do another test...In some countries,you can have an update which might be lesser than the first time tests..All the best and i wish you all well
