  1. In my case, I originally sent them all the documents and pictures, but when they sent me RFE, they requested phone bills, photos b4 and after marriage, passport copies for both of us, affidavits from her and my relatives, letters and post cards, wedding ring reciepts, credit card charges and etc.....i sent them over 7 pounds of documents

Those are the exact same items my husband and i FedEx with our RFE..

  2. This was too much of evidence.

I just submit marriage certificate, birth certificate and my wife passport copy.

Approved couple of months ago and now just waiting on Interview

    Good luck

Are you serious?? OMG!! Congrats.. Like I said, there was a handful of us, our case was not being worked for over 6 months. We called USCIS and next thing you know, we were all hit with RFE..

  3. the list below is minimal.

what were you thinking, about the 6 types of evidence, listed in the instructions?

I'd really like to understand your thought process.

I went straight off the website of what they were asking for.. I also posted what I was sending off in my I-130 Packet.. I received  from everyone that replied back. When i received my RFE.. i submitted all the following..

    Courtship

•I have submitted copies of E-mails, Phone Bill (includes International Messaging) and Web Conversations from Yahoo and MSN; we were in contact before my trip abroad.

    Relationship

•I have submitted copies of ongoing relationship after our marriage cards/letters, e-mails and Phone Bill (International Messaging).

•Yes, my husband and I speak English. Our family and friends speak English.

•Copy of Police Report, Scheduled Appointment for Current Police Report.

•Copy of Petitioner’s Electricity Bill including Home Address in USA with Beneficiary Name.

    Travel

•I have submitted all stamped passport pages for (maiden name) and (married name).

•I have submitted my Booking Confirmation Itinerary during my travel for our Wedding Celebration in 06/2011, our Honeymoon in 11/2011 and our Vacation in 06/2012.

•I have submitted an Electricity Bill of his parent’s 2nd home located in Tunisia; where (Petitioner and Beneficiary) stayed while overseas.

•I traveled alone 3 times to Tunis, Tunisia to be with my husband.

    Photos

•I have submitted 52 Wedding Celebration photos, 44 photos taken during our stay in Tunisia, visit to Tabarka and our Honeymoon in Hammamet, Tunisia.

    Wedding

•I have submitted our Wedding Announcement and photos of family and friends.

There really isn't anything I can do now, but wait.....

  4. listen dosen't matter with them all the proof and chat or any thing, in my interview they dont ask about any proof , no chat history , no pics , no email , nothing ok

what matter with them is how much you are ready to answear the questions without mistake , is really what they want , try to tell your finace or husband to be ready and answaer the qusetion and try to not be nervous and always smile , they will try to make him talk , tell him to be smart and just answear the quetions wthout talking alot a nd to focus with dates , like when you trvel to meet him , how many days you stay , dates are so importent

good luck but dont warry about the document because if they want to approved him they will not ask about that

Thanks for your reply and foremost the interview heads up. USCIS want more paperwork on the RFE we received for Bona Fide Marriage, evidence before and after our marriage and I submitted a thick FedEx Package with 96 pictures they can see of our wedding, family pictures, honeymoon and my visit to my husband.. Now we wait....

  5. 1st. They request Saif ORIGINAL updated birth certificate JUST like instructions say (stupid me).....I failed to think he would need his origial thinking they would ask for it in interview. I was wrong.

2nd. Updated (refreshed) police certificate. Another document I assumed was needed at time of interview

Apparently both documents need to be updated frequently, every 3 to 6 months. Saif is sending original documents with certified translations of each on Monday by EXPENSIVE Express Priority so we should get our interview date in a couple weeks :)

Congrats... Im so happy for the both of you.. I kept going over and over in my head, what i should have submitted to avoid our RFE.. My husband tells me not to overwhelm myself and everything's gonna be oky. I received confirmation from USCIS yesterday, they have our thick FedEx Package full of Evidence...lol. Justing waiting to hear great news..

  7. Hello helpful community of VJ :) ,

I had a simple question to you guys today: What do you think would be the best time for me (the petitioner) to move to a new place and not cause any disruption in my I129F or K-1 process? I've only recently (~1 months ago) received my NoA1, and the idea is that I'd like to move to a new apartment before my fiancee moves to live with me. It's nothing urgent and I can do it whenever I want, and so the flexibility is why I wonder what would be the best time to do it, given the procedures I'd have to go through as a result (and their impact on the overall processing time of the case/visa).

In essence, which of these would be best:

    A) Move before I get my NoA2?

    B) Wait until I get my NoA2 and move after I get it while my fiancee is taking care of things on her end (paperwork, interview, med. exam, etc...)?

    C) Don't move until fiancee gets visa and travels to the US?

All 3 options are viable ones for me, and neither I nor my fiancee would mind either one... But Ideally I'd like to have already settled in a new place before she came, to make the transition easier on her.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!

I moved into my new place 4 months after i filed my petition. i wanted to get everything ready before my husband enters the US.. i sent him pictures of apartments, floor plans and safe central locations.. we both agreed with the apartment i'm residing. we talked as if he were right beside me, that's what made it fasinating. i want my husband to feel at home, relax after hours of flights and dealing with security clearance at multiple airports. i've been sending him pic of our apartment or when i plan to purchase anything big.. i'm waiting for him to get here so we can pick out new set of couches and possibly our own 60 inch tv.

it's perfectly safe, once you do a change of address online, call uscis in a few days to confirm the change of address. Then your done. Waaah-Laaah

    thought i'd reply...

  8. Hello VJ Members,

I have a question... I'm sending ALL THE DOCUMENTS we sent each other before our marriage and our ongoing happily ever marriage.. Would it be a good idea to highlight areas to make sure they dont miss anything... with sticky notations.. I'm not printing all our one and one chats.. i printed our chat and webacam outline from my inbox with dates..

Any suggestions would help... Thanks in advance.

  9. Finally after 9 grueling months. Received a text at noon today "CARD IN PRODUCTION"!!! We are so ever whelmingly happy. We can't believe this day has finally come. After months of calling the USCIS, Putting in numerous service requests, making info passes, and contacting our congressman it finally paid off. We want to thanks VISA JOURNEY and it's vast wealth of information and people experiences. Everyone's accounts, stories and struggles. Seemed like we were on a caravan with all of you sharing our heart aches and momments of joy. With out everyone's support I don't think we could have done it with out all of you! :no:THANK YOU EVERYBODY!!!

    Congrats!!!

  10. what was the RFE for from USCIS?

    Hello VJ,

My RFE was for Bona Fide Marital Relationship... I have pretty much everything covered.. My chats, e-mails before our marriage. Ongoing chats, e-mails, packages sent from my husband, and international unlimited textn mobile bill. Wedding Celebration cd, pictures, wedding announcement to family and friends, stamped passport pages, itinerary confirmation of my flights. My husband's sending me copies of letters i mailed to him, receipts from the wedding, my birthday gift and my anniversary gifts.

Please let me know, if I'm missing anything...

  11. You have to get through CA USCIS before you can get to NVC. It is also not necessarily true that the NVC will be the office asking for ongoing relationship evidence. NVC is more responsible for financial verification, security checks, and scheduling the actual interview with the foreign embassy/consulate. In some cases, this information can be requested by USCIS or even by the consulate/embassy at the actual interview.

In any event, there is little that you can do until you find out exactly what the RFE was for. As the previous poster explained, you need to know what information they want from you. It is possible they are not interested in information to validate the relationship, but that the application was incomplete or incorrect.

The RFE that you received - was it in the mail or are you speaking of getting an email notification? Either call to ask them what it was or wait for their official letter stating what they need from you.

I would put all of your additional evidence that you've gathered since you sent your application in together in a 'packet'. It may come in handy to have your spouse take this to the interview, in the event the interviewer wants to see more evidence or the course of your relationship since filing the petition.

    Good luck.

Thanks for your input Tunisia216. The RFE i received was an e-mail Notification, awaiting for the Official Letter. Yes, I have all my documents gathered up, we discussed everything the day i received the e-mail. All that is taken care of and we're ready for anything..

    Thanks for replying... :)

  12. Hello VJ,

I have a few Questions... Now that i'm thinking all the evidence i have... more friend/family pix, ticket itinerary from my past 3 trips, hours msn web chats, package confirmation we sent each others..etc. Would it be a good idea?? To submit a copy of moneygram transfers i made to him??

Any other RFE would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks so much!! :)

  13. Did a Service Request on 15 June 2012 and got same response. Have not heard anything till now.

Also contacted Congressman on 4 June 2012. They replied that the petition is with an immigration officer and is currently under review. Should receive a notice of action within 30-45 days. Nothing so far. It will be 45 days on 23 July so let's see what happens.

Note: Contacting Congressman does not really ensure that you will get your NOA2 in any form. At least it did not really work in my case as of yet.

I will keep you posted with my updates... Thanks! :)

  14. Hello All,

Sorry, I'm new at this... Its like I'm being pulled in so many directions and need assistance in this matter.. I need my husband with me..
