Wow! I have been gone for a long time but I was always following your journey and I must say that today is a very special day. It's a day to celebrate because your long Visa Journey has been finally fullfilled. What a dreadful and long process for you, which confirms that we seriously need an Immigration Reform in this country soon. Good things happen to good people and you're simply collecting all the seeds you have planted along the road by helping others achieve what you have j...

Just found out that USCIS still hasn't sent NVC my case!!
-
I fully understand you because after the long wait for the I-130 to get approved you want everything else to fly by. Just have to be a little more patient. I know time away from our loved ones feels like an eternity but keep in mind that it has only been a weeks since getting your NOA-2 so you're on track. It's very important that you stay on top of the transit of your papers from USCIS to NVC. A very close friend who I met through this site had her case misplaced and delayed about 2...

Finally sent my ROC package today! About 2.5 inches thick and weighing in a little over 3 pounds. Hope USCIS likes and approves it

OMG! Saylin those are some awesome news. Congrats! You're so dedicated and organized with everything that I know you will soon get approved. Would you mind sharing some of the items you included in this gigantic package? ... I know there is a list out there but just curious to know about your creativity. Is it post it on your blog? or Can I find it somewhere?
Me and my wife will be stationed overseas by the time she is eligible to file for ROC but I hope to bring everythin...

For some reason I get this feeling that soon I'll be getting my NOA2 I don't know why but I don't want to keep my hopes to high!! Although I feel better about being optimistic!!

Back in the US of A with my wife (US conditional resident) !!!
-
LOL! It is unfortunate to say my friend but once your wife/husband gets physically with you for good, it's very rare to come back to this website to answer questions at least for a while. Most people just want to take a long break from this harsh process. Any questions hit me up and I'll do my best to answer them for you

Wifey started College Today! Woohoo! First Day of Classes and I'm so Proud of her.

I am sooo stupid for not doing the K-1....maybe my husband would be here by now ;_;
-
You're not stupid. You will be surprised of how easy his life will be in the States once everything is set and done. CR-1 takes a while, but you will see all the benefits at the end. Green Card and SSN within 3 or 4 weeks vs. Months. Ability to work right away vs. paying extra money to adjust status and having to wait for months. Think positive and stay focus

Monday, August 13th...15 days left for my wife's interview... (lab work already completed)
-
Oh yeah! Believe me it gets way better once you have her here everyday. Just a piece of advice from a friend: Be always mindful and understand that she will be here because of you and it will take time for her to adjust and adapt to her new lifestyle. Away from family and friends and she will need all your support and lots of patience to get through it. Keep faith in your wife and your marriage, lots of love and care and you will be fine.

Praise to the Lord Almighty! Green Card on Hand!! 17 days after POE!! Woohoo!! Heading out to the State College this Afternoon to Enroll Wifey on English Classes!
-
Settling in pretty well Trav&Shell. Wifey has received all her IDs (GC, State ID, debit, credit card, SSN, Medical, Dental and Vision)... so she is all set for success. So far she likes it very much and she seems pretty happy. We've been practicing on her driving skills and I'm getting her prepared for her Driver License. Plan to buy a second brand new vehicle (I told her that's her motivation to get the license LOL!). God Bless You!

I don't know if someone if wishing evil upon us but we have had more problems here in USA than we ever had during the immigration process. Between issues with his social still not working and now him not being able to get his permit till we jump through a thousands hoops I am convinced the evil eye is upon us. I hope that all of this will end soon. Kepp us in your prayers.
