Hi. Just a quick quesstion. Should i disclose the traffic violation of my spouse? Im the one applying for n400 and we got a letter in mail before that the car was caught in camera not stopping before turning right. The driver was my husband though and its been paid off. Is this considered as a violation too?

To VJers applying based on marriage and spouse is either naturalized us citizen or got their citizenship through Parents of spouse, do you think they will still look for the certificate of citizenship or cert of naturalization? Is US passport enough for them to prove that spouse is really a us citizen already? My husbands citizenship got lost and my interview is on the 19th of october.
-
Honestly no. We found out about it after we applied for my daughters citizenship. It was more than 2 years ago.
-
my interview is on october. I dont think there would be enough time to apply. Will they accept just a receipt from uscis as a proof that I applied for a replacement of certificate of cotizenship?
-
My husband is a naturalized us citizen. His certificate got lost after the process of my daughters application for CRBA. I dont really know what exctly happened. On the intervie notice that I got, it says bring your spouses birth certificate or cert of naturalization or cert ofcitizenship. Since it got lost, can I show them US passport and the COPY of cert of citizenship instead? Yes, I was able to make a copy of the cert. Or should i just go ahead and apply for replacement? If so, how long will it take? Thank you so much
-
They might do the same to me too regarding the taxes. Anyway, thank you so much for answering all my questions.

My husband is alo a naturalized cotizen, did they ask for your spouse's certificate of naturalization(if he is naturalized too)? My husband's certificate got lost but I have a photocopy and original US passport.

What about the certificate of naturarilization? Letter says bring your spouses birthh cert ot certificate of naturalization or certificate of citizenship. My husband was naturalized but lost his certificate. Is us passport enough or i have to apply for a replacement? Thanks
-
Nevermind I just didnt understand the letter. But thank you. Do you think us passport is enough or they might ask me to get a replacement of certificate?

Hello. I am applying based on marriage. My husband is a naturalized citizen, but his certificate got lost. On the items listed for the interview, it says, your spouses birth certifucate or naturalization cert or certificate of colotizenship. Can I show them the US passport including the old ones or i have to apply for a replacement?

Do you think its not going to be a problem? One more thing, what are the documents that I have to bring during my entry? Passport, visa and what else?
-
Hi everyone. One of the requirements that I have to bring is my husbands naturalization certificate. But it got lost. So can I just bring all the passports that my husband had used since he became a us citizen? Thanks
-
I'm from tarlac too. I also applied for my daughter's CRBA before. We had to make an appointment at the embassy. I think you can check their calender and from there, you can see what dates are still available. Good luck:)

I also went to Norfolk USCIS office for my interview. How long dis you wait for your interview to be scheduled after the biometrics? And can you please share about your experience? I am applying based on the 3 year rule. Thank you
-
Just a question. How long did your husband wait from the time of his biometrics to interview?

I just received a notice of rejection because I forgot to check my eligibility requirement on Part 1. Should I make new application on n400 or just submit the original package that I sent? Thank you

I am getting my application ready and my documents are almost complete and application is already filled out. Should I use paper clip ir should I staple the documents(IRS,evidences, etc.)? My application is handwritten only. Is that ok? I am thinking of making a cover letter but again I will only write it by hand.

I am getting my application ready but have some questions. Do I have to put N/A on every blank space provided if it says "if applicable" if my answer is none or applicable? Does putting N/A on every space provided will be a problem. On the COUNTY, I am not sure if norfolk, va beach, and suffolk are county. If these areas are not county should I put Norfolk as city and norfolk as county too or just N/A? For the trips outside united states for the past five years, I have been living here in US since August 27,2012 and I have never went on vacation up to now, should I put N/A or should I put the dates while I was still in my country before I came to US (it says for the PAST 5 years)? For part 7,employment/ schools attended, should I put 05/11/2012- Present for my current job or 06/23/2015 the date today? For PART 11, do I have to check no to numbers 39-45 (If you are in the armwd forces.....which I am not)should I just leave it or check no? For part 14 and 16 should I just leave it or still put N/A? Please help. Thanks a lot.

My interview was last Oct.19,1025. I fortunately passed. I applied based on my marriage. When I submitted my application, I completed all the documents including pictures. Thought i will have a problem with the tax return bit everything went fine during the interview. It only took more than 3 months for my application to be finished. Now I am just waiting for my oathtaking to be scheduled.
