We are k1 and k2. We had our interview last dec. 12,2011 at USEM Manila. The CO was confused with my CENOMAR coz it was stated that I was never been married but the fact was, I had previous marriage and late hubby died years ago as I presented our Marriage Cert and his Death Cert(both from NSO )and now since we are under 221g and AR/AP,CO requested for my CENOMAR reverification which I complied Dec 19 and I was told that Usem staff pick them up every Friday at NSO Pasay.Now I don't know how long before this case will be resolved.Im worried because my medical will expire on Feb 2,2012. What if we didn't get our visa before the expiration of my medical? Will I have to repeat my medical all over again? Please enlighten me as I'm really tortured now , having sleepless nights:( Thanks for the inputs Friends.

No I did not get 221g just a little late cause my son visa issued was December 16 and mine was Dec 6 and they wait my son visa to mail it to me so it will come same time.

ok sis , so did they tell you why it was issued late and they didn't issue at the same time?

I got a k1 as well and I'm hoping they will issue our visas at the same time:) Nice Christmas presents for you sis:)

oh my goodness! E-census failed to deliver my CENOMAR reverification to NSO Pasay as the date I was told by them to dispatch! Supposedly it will be delivered on DEc 16 to NSO Pasay.But now I got an email from E-census telling that the said requested document will be delivered on Dec 23 to USEM:( how bad! 11 days were wasted. ...now need to start all over again from the top:(..I'm hoping this thingy will be over!

Nothing is impossible with Our Lord God... You just have to believe. what happened to our case is a MIRACLE. I thought we will be denied and we have no choice but to get married here, but God is soooo good. He touched our CO's heart and gave us our early Christmas gift.

Pray alot... Remember, this is just a test guys. Nothing is impossible with God. Y'all are on my prayers... I know how tough it is being under AP. Being left in the dark and the waiting game never seem to end... We waited 2 mos after submitting additional docs (cenomar reverification) then after 2 more weeks CO made a decision. He's not satisfied with our relationship's bonafideness. He denied our application 2 weeks after receiving the addtnl docs. We're so depressed and couldn't believe it. We were told that our petition will be sent back to USCIS through NVC, SOON... But God is good, after my fiance's appeal, we finally got approved after 3 weeks being under AR. Received our visas few days ago. Will fly on the 27th with my kids and be with my future hubby. We thank God for this miracle, BEST CHRISTMAS GIFT EVER!!!

oh my GOD! you mean I need to wait also for 2 months to get my visa approved? Because I also requested for additonal docs and that was the same as yours, reverification:)Pls. enlighten me sis:(

221g reason: corrected gender of BC needed

note: the day after my interview, i went to my lawyer and paid P25,000 to fix everything.. i will be having my court hearing on January 30,2012... so i guess i have to wait that long before i can submit the additional document.. very depressing..

Oh I can feel you as for my own case which my requested document will just be sent this coming Friday to NSO Pasay and ..I feel it is a forever waiting:(.....anyway we can all surpass this trial.God is with us n this journey:) Just keep the faith! Thanks for sharing teddy&bear:)

Its good that you talk about what happened with your CENOMAR, hopefully others will examine theirs when they receive them and accept that it could be flawed so check them right away and fix any mistakes. As you said it came from the government so you expected it to be correct, totally understandable.

Yes, lessons learned. Make sure that all civil documents/documents were all properly checked even it came from the Credible Institution. If there are some typo errors or mistakes just don't hesitate to ask where you get them. It will cause all your plans to a forever delay if didn't fix right away.

You're right the mistake wasn't yours but in the end you're the one who pays by having to suffer an needless delay...

Yes, and I'm just hoping it won't take that long to process our case again. It was an honest mistake and the CO knew it coz he was also helping me to look for the correct CENOMAR.He was trying to give me a chance not to give me a 221g but then it was his job to request a reverification before giving his approval and it's understandable:)...GOD is good. Thanks for the input.

I just have to ask because this is a few times I've read the exact same thing here now...

How did you not notice the document was incorrect when you got it?

Sure the NSO should have got it right the first time but we each need to take responsibility for our self and when we know a seemingly simple document can so easily derail our life plan it fall supon us to ensure that everything is correct.

Because I thought since I was a widowed,my previous marriage won't reflect anymore on that document.And since it was from a certified isntitution so I trusted them I just thought that it was a new process for them when it is considered unmarried. I admitted, my fault coz I didnt notice it right away just depend on what the NSO sent me, NSO fault because they should send the right document as it is their job to fix civil documents (they should know the proper document to be send to the requester, and CO was confused lol! and so do I.I just leave it all up to GOD.God Bless!

Help im confused !!! i was married last feb.2,2011 ,then last june i have my MC from NSO then last November i get CEMAR but i was shocked i get CENOMAR instead ,does anybody have same case like me??does this affect the visa process?we almost finish in our case,i just get CEMAR bcoz its 1 requirements for interview (...what to do??oh darn..

I got a 221g just because of the wrong CENOMAR that the NSO issued to me.After the interview in all deep thoughts that i have in my mind, I was also confused why my CENOMAR stated that I never been married but in fact i had a previous marriage but then it wasn't stated on the CENOMAR. So I contacted the NSO right away and told the mess that they've created with my CENOMAR. And they emailed me and asked their apology and after 2 days the sent me the corrected CENOMAR for free. now i'm under 221g.

She recieved her visa today 19 days to receive visa after approval at interview

It's a shame that NSO screwed up your first CENOMAR. When you get a 221g, you never know how long it will take to get your visa. If you are lucky, you could get your visa in a week like we did when we got a 221g. However, it can also take a few weeks or more. Hopefully you will get your visa sooner rather than later. Good luck.

yeah right ..and just want to know if there were any case like mine as well...I appreciate all your inputs . Im glad you are here again to reply..Thanks friend. I just want to enlighten if the CO said "NOT YET" when I asked him if we were approved....because he requested for additional docs.

Hi VJ friends! I’m new here and I need your help. I’m a widower and with k2’s.And we are on k1 and k2.I had my interview last Dec. 12, 2011 @ USEM Manila. And after the interview I got a 221g and the CO asked for my CENOMAR reverification. The CO asked for it coz my CENOMAR stated that I was never been married but in fact I was married and my hubby died few years ago. After the CO checked my CENOMAR and I saw CO really looks confused reading the CENOMAR, he asked for my marriage certificate and the death certificate of my late husband and I gave the original NSO documents to the CO. He was very confused about my CENOMAR to the fact that I just got the latest copy of it. He asked me again if I was married and I said yes! He was convinced about the death and marriage certifcate that I handed to him because they were from NSO.After the interview I asked if we were approved..and he just said “NOT YET”…….and told me to wait for my number to be called…….And when my number was called to window 72, the lady gave me a white slip(221g) and a reverification form , there was a checked on the CENOMAR and at the bottom it was stated “WAIT TIL YOU HEAR FROM US”. I was instructed to go to NSO Pasay or gave me 3 options to choose where to send the requested document.I chose via E-census and as I was instructed to address directly to US EMBassy IMMGRANT VISA UNIT.. I complied right away after our interview and applied via E-census. I got notifications from E-census that the document I requested was dispatched to US embassy last Dec 15,2011.

After I accomplished the 221g right after my interview. I was still in deep confused mode. About the CENOMAR I submitted to the CO during my interview,I was also confused with my CENOMAR and I contacted NSO on that same day (Dec 12,2011) about it why they sent me a wrong document and NSO admitted and asked their apology. After I contacted NSO , after 2 days I got a corrected copy of my CENOMAR and my previous marriage was now stated there.I got it free of charge(of course! it was their fault) NSO was not so careful when sending documents and lesson learned …need to check the documents even if it is from NSO because just like in my experienced they sent me the wrong document that cause in a pending case whichI should get approved on the day of my interview:(
