With all the denials going on in Lagos and the focus seemingly on the US citizen and their ex's, I asked my ex today for an affidavit of the timeline from which we seperated (June 2009) until the date of our final divorce (August 2011). I told him I would type it out, would not include any personal information, address, phone number, nothing but his signature and asked him would he sign it before a notary that it was true and that was his signature. He said NO. Point blank.

Today is my day....Its Friday; Its My Birthday; & Im going to Naija.......So Happy.....have a blessed day ppl...still praying for approvals today out of Lagos......

Hi everybody..I've missed being on VJ for some weeks now. Sad to say that I lost my Job.. I was having some issues with my asthma because of the extreme heat and filled for FMLA and was termed for extremely crazy reasons. But to God be the Glory Hubby has been doing the dang thang. Working two jobs and getting it done while I look for something better and not almost an hour away.It's tight but we are okay. Thanks to all the VJ FAM keeping us in Prayer.. we love you guys!

Okay AOS approved. One down one to go. Don't know whats going on over there with hubby, but I am holdin on ya'll. The AOS was my biggest concerned. Thank you Jesus.

Man does NVC want their money fast. Paid IV Bill yesterday 9/6 and today PAID. Goodness. I thought you would give me the weekend. hehe. Now waiting for the much awaited documents from hubby. (has stuff in their for my birthday soooo excited.) This will be my first card from him a shame we have to Fedex it. ;-)

It's so slow at work right now, it would be a great time for an interview trip! (Just throwing that out to NVC Land in case they are listening!)

WOW 2 months today since NOA2. Hmmm okay NVC lets get this party started you and CSC made me lose 1 month now.

WOW. Had set up a reminder message on my phone way back on 3/15 day of my I-130. and it said "Today is 5 months since I filed I-130. I hope I am adjudicated by now". Look at God. was approved 50 days ago. Sitting here with Case# waiting to be invoice. hey Favor ain't fair. I love you Lord.

Tonight was the most nervous night of my life...waiting for my wedding morning ! So as I sit back and remember that sleepless night I can't wait for tomorrow to come so I can celebrate 2 years with the man that I know God's heart created just for me.

Hallelujah thank you Jesus. Case Recieved 7/31/2012. They just had to get it in for July. Phew I told that man I wanted to kiss him he made my day. Told me give them a few days (he didn;'t say 20 days) to get case number in system. Ya'll this girl is one happy 9ja wife for reals. My husband said today, "Baby lets pray about it". OMG I have become the nightmare I dreaded. Decided since NVC still don't have me (didn't think it got there that fast) I would call back USCIS give them my confirmation number and see whats up. I don't know whether to laugh or cry or just curl up in a ball. Got a tier 2 again and she says "I see you put in a service request and its been assigned but it has not been work. Tomorrow, my first day of work. Glory to God. I have waited 19 months to the day to say those words. So excited. And so grateful.
