Yes congratulations to all of those getting interview dates! But what is up with Lagos.....I am trying to be patient but it's been 19 days now...can I get an interview date or what? (small smile) trying to be patient ya'll it's hard

LOL! I know right? Thank God for busy and tiring week which has helped me not focus on it so much. I no longer feel that rush to call and find out anymore which is good.I will only call NVC tonight cos I know they will be closed monday.

Amen...yeah I have called this week but the "anxiousness" has somewhat faded today....I am debating whether or not to call while here at work or just to wait until tonight as well...it's funny b/c when I found out about the NOA2 and the case complete both of the those calls were anxious-free and really unexpected...I think anticipation...increases the chances to hear a " not yet" lol....well once again getting my hands off of this....and let God do what he does best! Three weeks from today and I'm getting VERY nervous!

don't be nervous just keep trusting God...I know that is a lot easier said then done but you can do it!

Come on Nigeria....release some interview dates now....I know I know in God's time but good grief lol

My patience has definitely increased. I thank God for this because it is only he that has humbled me to this point. Although my husband has to return to the embassy with another document that was requested by the embassy, I thank God anyway because he knows just what he's doing. Secondly, this journey is long and tiring but when I think about what is at stake, it's all worth it for a lifetime with "Ma Love".

Well at first I had 0% patience but quickly learned that you have no choice but to find it somewhere on this journey...then I was cool calm and collect in the middle of the journey but now that we are near the end....I am more anxious and impatient then I was when we started LOL....but it's not the same kind of anxiousness I guess....I just want to know our interview date! lol

I think this is going to be one of my longest weekend and the snow is not helping. I heard a voice give me "march 5th" in my dream and I woke up with so much excitement to hear from NVC only to find out the storm affected their operations!. I know we will get our dates next week, I just want to know how far it will be.

Yes I agree next week we will definitely know.... but as I began to get anxious about that date I heard God say to me I brought you this far why would I not know what to do from here...so I just decided to let go and let God do his thing...he already has our dates marked on his calender....and it's the perfect day our husband's will here APPROVED!

well I don't have any answers as far as the taxes and filing and what not as I am pretty new to this whole petition thing myself but I just want to say to you that you DON'T need to feel stupid.....yeah you are gonna have to raise a 3 year old by yourself but MANY women do it....and children turn out just fine! Refocus your attention on your children and let them fuel your fire don't give that many anymore of your energy...people can only do to you what you allow them to do...nobody deserves a broken heart not matter who was right or wrong...yes I some places from your story where you could have gotten out sooner BUT guess what... I should have gotten out sooner too when I was married to my first husband but I didn't I stayed and went through a lot of pain....but you live and learn and one day you are going to have to help someone else out....so pick yourself up and keep moving forward....no need to hang your head down...learn from it....and keep going....you have 2 children that need you to be their example....so fight for them if you don't do it for anyone else....life isn't over...it's just changed...God will lead you through....just trust him!

You can calling NVC and/or DOS every single day to inquire! My case completed on a Friday, I was calling both places the very next Monday to inquire about interview dates. Someone should go read the last few questions/answers in the FAQ ;)

(lalalaa) jk....yeah I did after I posted it like umm duh go back to the first post lol.. well just called NVC.....not taking calls as the post above mine says and too many recordings when calling DOS...how the heck do I just speak to someone lol...pressed 0 it just got me back to the phone options....ok trying again LOL

Of course you can call look at it like this. Kazule got her interview date when she called Jan 31. She has yet to get letter. Its the 8th. So not calling that's what 9 days not knowing.

Even though for us Lagos medical needs letter. So we need the letter. So why not call dear.

I wonder if Lagos operates on limited schedule to the public on fridays so that they can take stock for the week and then give out available dates?

Sheesh. This turned out to be a hot mess. At one point I had my interview date posted on here.

Hopefully someone will set the list right. I want to, but lack the 'energy' to do it now.

LOL...right...and I lack the brain power to do it I may mess it all up lol

NVC just sent me a case complete email @ 6:02 a.m. Nice to know they communicate that early via email even though its 7 days after the fact but i appreciate the official notice.
