    08/10: Met online via family members. Apparently our families have known each other for years.

    02/11: Made it official! BF/GF status began. Visited him and stayed one week.

    06/11: Visited my honey again. Stayed one week.

    08/11: Visited again....was with my dying father and him. Stayed two weeks.

    10/11: Went for my birthday weeked. Got engaged!!

    12/11: Going on an extended 3 week vacation with him. He gets to meet my daughter for the first time!

    02/25/12: Just got married! So happy and so in love! NOW OUR VISA JOURNEY BEGINS :)

    05/26/12: Went to spend 8 days and with my babes and celebrate his brithday. We had a wonderful time together. Came back on the 3rd, feeling all sad and lonely. Come on NOA2!!

    Question.... According to Saylin's VJ guide, I am supposed to send in the AOS packet to the Visa Center. I thought this was the packet that we take to the embassy because she states in this packet, you include the police cert and passport pics, etc. Clarification anyone? I know I have to send in my financials but I thought that was it until the interview

      Saylin here! :) Yes you need to send the AOS (I-864) package to NVC. You also need to send the IV (DS-230) package to NVC as well. The police certificate and passports pics are the IV package, not the AOS. There's also a ton more stuff in the IV package. Go to my profile, my 'About Me' tab and click on the last two links there and do some reading!

      Saylin clarified perfectly. Yes you will need to send both an AOS packet and IV packet to NVC and get your case completed before an interview can be scheduled.
