I still check the tracker its like my sad routine. But guys please promise we update each other when we get scheduled because right now you all are my guidance in a way.

I know its not celebrated in the UAE but as you all are coming to the US soon want to wish everyone Happy Thanksgiving!! Im greatful that i found people who are in similar situation to me and have been very supportive.

Cant agree more. This is some serious BS. Sad part about it, they dont care...its absurd. Dont know why NVC was telling you guys they have scheduled interviews because if that perso  who was approved in April already got scheduled then we gotta wait until the end of the month or beginning of next

Oh really???  Could be a travel ban or a lack of documents. Sometimes they miss one paper and they put them on AP. 

I would say six months but hopefully you never know. The thing is at the embassy when I went for my interview we were only 14 applicants for immigration visas. And there was only one person to do the interviews. So it takes so much time, and i guess thT is the reason why appointments take so long because 14 applicants a day is nothing.

There are a couple of us here who are still waiting to be interviewed. Yes wait time is very difficult. We are waiting since May away from each other, so be patient it will come hopefully soon.

I just want to share with you all that my husband attended his interview this morning at USEM Abu Dhabi, and he was approved. He was actually the first person to be interviewed for IV. If you were there this morning you probably saw a fine young man in blue suit. ??
 
Thank you everyone for your support and assistance through this journey. It's been a rough and painful one year but I'm glad it has come to an end. I'm hoping he joins me this weekend in the US. ? Thank you all!

Regardless of how slow Cairo might be, it seems to still be faster than Abu Dhabi ....   I just regret not researching on VJ prior to leaving the UAE and leaving my husband behind, I thought the appointment at the embassy is a walk in the park but boy I was wrong.
At this point I just need to wait and be patient and what makes it easier is that there are so many other people in the same situation.
