It will happen there are 2 other people currently going through this at the US embassy in Canada who are also Pakistani.
AP can take anywhere from a few weeks to a year. There is no set time frame for it. You cannot speed it up or anything either.
really? =( can you link me to their cases i want to read about it. I really pray.

can someone tell me more about the administrative processing, I really hope that does not happen but would like to know about it.

Ya I understand that part, I was just wondering about how we were going to manage his family especially since he would have to be away from them. So basicially once he is here he cannot leave until we are married. Can he come back after we are married, maybe we can do our other cultural ceremonies after marriage.
-
My Fiance is not Canadian, he is Pakistani and been living in Canada for past 10 years. Unfortunately he is a a permanent resident and US did not give him permission to enter.
-
He did not get a visa to US they thought he wanted to live here. So that is why we did the Fiancee Visa. What is the advance parole, how long does that take? is that after marriage correct?

I feel like I am going into depression, I have not heard anything and just wondering how I can make this process easy, Please Please pray for me.

So If we get approved and my fiancee he is from Canada he lives there but is not a citizen of Canada. I am wondering for marraige purposes for our families to get the wedding preparations and stuff he will need to travel back to Canada is it possible will he be able to re-enter US before we get married? How do we manage the situation? How can he travel back to Canada and re-enter to get married? Can he travel back and forth for the 90 days? or does he have to stay in US until we are married? What is the best way for our situation. Also he is only coming to US to get married to me because my family is here, we plan to settle in Canada and I would travel to US to see my family when I want to.

Thank You! I wish I had good luck! I hope it is approved =)

I made a binder which includes everything that is required.
-
-
What exactly is sent to the lock box? The way I read it I thought a binder with proof of relationship was necessary.
-
I thought that we have to send forms, passport style photos, passpoort copies and citizenship copies, proof of relationship (i.e. itinaries, boarding passes, phone records, photos as a couple) to the lock box? I read that on the visa journey page.
-
I live in California, I had prepared a binder with all forms, relationship info, and phone records. What is the address where I mail all of this?
-
I want to make sure that I send the amount and the name correctly, will someone please let me know.
-
Thanks guys, I am sending it out today, I hope it will be smooth and please pray for it to be quick. I have struggled alot but hopefully this will end the struggle.
-
Is this still correct place to mail the fiance visa? I am sending a binder is that ok? also Whom do I write the check and how much is it for?

I am a girl that lives in California US Citizen and fell in love with him, who is in Canada. He is not a Canadian Citizen he is a Permanent resident and he comes from Pakistan. I have gathered everything for the K1 visa and will be mailing it this week. My question is he has lived in canada for 15 years but never became a citizen and did apply but was unable to get a citizenship because he had a case pending. He was guilty of obstruction of justice. Will this affect the approval process? he did not commit any major horrible crime but the obstruction of justice is what he was found. Also he cannot cross the border since he was not a citizen of Canada so I visit him 2 times a year at the least, we have been together for 8 years and finally decided we want to marry and start our lives as husband and wife. Please if anyone can shed some light it would be great.
