Hey ... No word from NVC as yet. Hopefully by next week we'll know if they received the package as yet. As for my wife, she has been sick a lot, and sleeping longer hours, so we really don't get to talk that much. . I hope all is going well for you?

Well, if he did it in Kingston, the only way he would have to wait for them to call him is if there was some problem with his application. If it's just a normal application, they would give him a date to pick it up at the pick up section of the passport office. It doesn't take beyond 5-7 days.

Yeah, just keeping fingers cross that everything is ok with what we submitted. I don't know of them calling anyone to tell them when their passport is ready. When I went and got mine in March they wrote the pick up date on the receipt, which was 5 business for regular process. Unless he went to a tax office and not the passport office where it takes longer?

Hey, express mailed the ds-230 with all the required documents yesterday to NVC. They should get it some time next week, so just going to hope all goes well and I can get my interview date in the next two weeks or so. How are things going for you?

Yeah, they said passport along with two passport size pics. I saw a man there with only his drivers license. They didn't turn him away. I heard the clerk telling him to state the type of id he was using on the section of the form for passport info. Maybe your husband could call and find out if they accept other ids. If they do, he could get it done while waiting on his passport and save time.

Tell him to go early, as it will take some time, due to large amount of people there each day. I got mine in March. I was there for about 1 1/2 hrs. When I went to pick up several days later, I still had to wait like about 45 minutes.

Btw, the reason you see me more often on here than my wife. Since she got pregnant, she's been sleeping longer hours. She work nights, and when she gets off she has been sleeping right throughout the days until near the time to go back to work. Pregnancy is really taking a toll on her. That's why I want this to be over soon, as we don't get to talk as often as before.

lol It shouldn't take him very long to get his passport done if he goes to the main office. It will take about 5-7 business days.They emailed the IID number to us. We use a joint email address that we gave to them, so any thing they send out will go to both of us.

I hope he gets his passport soon so things can start moving again. I have to go make some extra copies of my birth ce...

Finally got our case number after over a month of waiting. Now trying to move fast in getting everything paid up and submitted.

That's on her last visit last month when I went with her to the airport. Hopefully the Noa2 will arrive by month end or early next month. I see you're getting very close to your interview date. I'm so happy for you.
