Glad to hear about your daughter's development. Sounds like she will be crawling soon. I work nights too like your husband. It's an ok job. I can't complain as it helps us out a lot. I know in time God will open up other avenues, so I'm just being grateful and thankful that I could at least find work.

Well, I've been doing a part-time job as well until I can get into the area I want. The job market is very tough over here.

No I haven't. I'm 8 years older than the maximum age of 25, so I'm not eligible.

Today we celebrate our first wedding anniversary! I'm so thankful to God for keeping us together even though we had to spend most of the last several months apart due the immigration process. Thank God I got be here with my wife as we celebrate this our special day.

I trust you'll make a great mom, plus you'll have help from your mom and husband. I know the feeling of getting your first and all the uneasiness.

As for the job hunt, nothing so far. In the process though of get into some consultant stuff my wife's brother inlaw told me about. So hopefully it gives me a break until I get something.

Got my Green Card mailed to me yesterday. Thank God that I got everything without any issue.

Got my SSN in the mail today. Thank God it got here this early and I didn't have to go down to their office. Time to start looking about getting a job.

All the best for the interview tomorrow. I'm praying that it all goes well for both of you and he'll be home soon. When I get home tomorrow I'll be looking for that approved status update.

Quick question... has your husband received his SSN as yet? They mentioned that it will be delivered in 3 weeks or if not to go by the SSN office. I just want to get mine as soon as possible so I can start looking for work. So want an idea of how long it will take?
