last year, I received an email from nvc, mentioned the address of embassy I will interview in. is that mean they already sent my documents to that embassy?

6-8 Wks? I think not. Definitely Will NOT preside over the F2A category.

Why not? Look at the last fiscal year, it happened there, everything's possible! Also, F1 used to move faster than F2A until 2005, which shows it's impossible to predict anything with immigration! We just need to have patience and remain positive :thumbs:

a-my question is ''whether changing Ankara embassy (the embassy that my application will be sent to) to london has effect on my application process''.

b-I just heard that.. they are very fussy about any details and issuing permanent visa taking time longer than other ambassies.

c-previously, NVC did send me email confirmation of new address. I will try one more time, hopefully one of NVC employee respondes to my email.

I do not see anyone with a PD of December ... Now it will be harder. If only someone in Vietnam forum will not let us know. I found there, but I'm not sure that they will write. In this forum, rarely writes.

There is someone on the Univision forums with PD of Dec 5th. I'll keep checking to see if she receives an interview letter.

Where did our optimism go? It's only day two of November and the visa bulletin hasn't been published yet. Let's wait till it's released before passing sad judgements.

It's just that there's only one more week to go before the bulletin is published, so I'm not sure they can assign that many interviews. But you're right, better keep those hopes up! :thumbs:

VB will be published only on 13th this month because 12th is the Veterans Day. It looks like they will start sending interview letters only from next week. May be SANDY caused delay on everything. I hope presidential election does not affect on anything.

I am happy that there is movement .

Ok so these are the things that we know:

1) we have new visa numbers available to our category.

2) the available visa numbers must be used up in this financial year.

3) last year the nvc covered 16 months.

4) we have covered 4 weeks in this financial year so far.

Speculation:

5) if we use the previous years movement as a guide for this years movement then we can expect an average monthly movement of 16/12=1.333 months.

6) 1.33 in days is 40 days per month.

7) if oct and nov combined movement is 28 days then there is currently a lag of ( 40+40)-28= 52 days which would have to be covered in the coming months.

8) december 2006 is approximately 394 days away.

9) So we should clear 2006 in 9.85 months "Sept 2013"

I really hope they keep moving at a pace of 40 days per month in average and that we clear 2006 in Sept 2013. Please please please!

Nov 1st it is! But no predictions for upcoming months!

One thing I noticed is that F1-Philippines moved from 01APR96 to 01JUL97, so they're back to where they were on July's bulletin (they had retrogressed all the way to 1994 after that). Not sure how that relates to F1 for rest of the world though, but it looked interesting.

I thought they were going to publish the bulletin today, they often do it around the 10th. I guess they will publish it tomorrow or Friday.

I'm pretty sure it's going to be Nov 1st, but I want to see if they will add some estimates for the upcoming months.
