Same here. We have a NVC case complete date of August 10th 2012 and waiting for interview date for Mumbai Consulate...This wait is freaking ridiculous.. i don't know why US Citizens have to wait for 9 freaking months to be united with their spouse while these stupid fools on H-1 visa can bring their spouse along with them.. this is RIDICULOUS... i know most of you can feel my anger at this sheer stupid immigration policy...
But just called NVC again and the lady said that they scheduele interviews for next month in the 2nd week of previous month and to check back next week to see if we made it to September scheduele or not.
This wait is a freaking killer!!!!! :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

My wife has a friend who is moving to England to be with her boyfriend. Her friend got her work visa to move to England with him in 6 weeks from start to finish. We are married are desperately trying to be together, its been 7 months with no end in sight. The process is obviously broken. When it says 5 months, I expect no more than five months. If it goes over five months, I expect someone to be accountable and tell me whats going on. The USCIS does none of this.

My case is going on nearly 7 months. The problem is the USCIS simply does not care.

We filed in Vermont dec7 so we are 1 week past 5 months.
The wait is awful especially as the petitions around us on the same day were dealt with weeks ago I am getting frustrated and thinking they have a problem with our paperwork .
My fiance called them but they didn't tell us anything.

He's already disconnected from you. If he's not willing to own up to the problem(s) and work to fix them, then there is nothing you can do to change his mind. It's a huge fallacy that one person can change another.
It hurts, it stinks, but it's survivable.

I've never heard of anyone wearing their wedding ring before marriage (other than you). I know married women who wear their wedding band on the outside of their ring due to the design of the rings. I would see someone wearing a wedding rind and assume they were married. Guess you learn something new every day...

It is kind of heart breaking that you just had your loved one denied, you go to ask for help and get called a troll or liar. If you have nothing to say please don't say those things, why would I waste my own time.
