My wife successfully got her visa at the Mumbai consulate today. My experience follows.

Congrats Kevin. My wifey also got her visa successfully y'day. She was out by 8:20 am. They didn't ask her for any docs except for the wedding album. She got her passport with a visa stamped on it today as well. An Indian lady took her fingerprints, PCC, and medical examination report and asked her a few basic questions about how and when did we meet, etc and then an American guy asked her similar questions and regarding her previous trips to US and Canada. Then he said Congrats and welcome to the United States.

Congratulations on your family's visa approval and thanks a lot for sharing the interview experience with us. It's really helpful. I have filled out the new DS-230 form just in case if they ask my spouse since she has traveled to the US in the past few months.

Did you get your passport with visa on the same day? How long is it taking nowadays?

Kevin - you don't need a DS-160 form as that's only for the non-immigrants visa interview.

It's so cool to finally see year 2011 in the Visa Bulletin! Good luck to everyone who will be interviewed next month.

Thanks Athena June. The VB is out so glad to see that we are current. Still unbelievable that it moved from 15Dec2010 to 01Mar2011. Wow, wow! 10 weeks of forward movement!

I don't think so more ILs will come come now as it looks like NVC is done with the scheduling. The cut off date should be 01Mar2011. Wow, from 15Dec2010 to Mar11.

Congrats my friend! finally the wait is over. For a medical examination, you will have to schedule your appointment by yourself through your consulate's approved physicians' panel.

i called already 2 times nothing yet.

Steve, you will get it soon. Some consulates are slow to provide their availability.

I just got my email as well. NVC is working really hard today.

I told you guys at first that i really got IL with pd 30jan11, but someone told me a liar! I was really angry and sad but today i saw all you guys recieved IL, I feel really happy! Congratulations for all of us!!!

i am with 20th Jan-2011..i called twice NVC ... but same response they are playing with Dec 15th..

Thanks. Yup from India. Its actually for my spouse as I'm the petitioner. Our PD is 9th Feb, 2011 (already in my timeline below).

You will get it shortly. It looks like most of the mid-late Jan and Feb folks got the ILs...from Dec only person got the IL.

I called them and i got standard answer. But ask me about my email. I don't now why, but i will wait little bit more and try again. Im happy for you my friend

You are all scheduled..It's just matter of time to enter your schedule in the system. Relax. I know how it feels. The PD cut off date for sure so far is15th Feb 2011. wow, 2 months movement even they predicted for only 3-5 weeks.

Where is the interview Mumbai or Delhi?

Guys! Good news.I just called NVC and we are scheduled for May 9th. OMG! The lady said that it's funny that you already called us twice today and you are just scheduled now. Thank you, God and all my vjmembers. So happy..

I don't think.. I called them twice however I just got the same answer that we are processing cases before 15th Dec 2010. The operators were super nice and friendly though.

I talked to NVC just now and they confirmed my interview date. Although she didn't seem to have a clue when the cutoff date is going to be or why it advanced that much.

Guys! You will not believe this! I called again. And this lady was so very nice. She gave a schedule. Its on the 13th of May 2013! OMG! I bet you will all believe me! RitzF2A call again!!!!!!! Yahooooooo!!!!

They have no other option but to work. Don't worry you will get yours tomorrow. I'm not sure about mine as that bunkbuster guy is not sure about himself.

my PD is December 21 and didn't receive any ILs yet

You will get it this week. Generally, NVC's trend is to send ILs first to people whose PD is near to the cut off date. Keeping my fingers crossed for bunker dude and hoping his IL is legit.

Shouldn't we wait for NVC's monday? Or our respective country's monday?

For the first time in my life, I'm waiting for Monday and I wish why there is Sunday today. Can't wait for Monday to see if these folks are right and to get our IL.

I've posted plenty before guys. I got no reason to fool around since I treat this matter as seriously as you guys. I talked to nvc last week and I wonder if they mistakenly scheduled my case early. The reason why I am not ecstatic is because of the doubts surrounding the 8 week movement. Hopefully it's not a fluke and my interview is actually in may. Ill schedule the medical on Monday.

Okay...then we are current too! OMG! I was hoping with this 3-5 weeks movements to be current in July however we will be current in May itself.

yes my friend i realy got my il last late night, i couldnt believe myself but its true. i am not sure about cut off date but so far 22 jan is for sure for f2a. good luck everyone!
