My wife and I received our NOA2 (4th May) almost 5 months to the day since our NOA1 in December.
The text and email service works like a charm. I was awoken by my wife at 5am to say she's received a text from USCIS to say our petition had been approved.
Unfortunately the NVC automated service is no longer in service. Human beings only now.
We've been told to wait 15 days for the transfer of case to NVC. You can always send an email to the NVC as well to get a case update.

Processed at the CSC. Filed on the 5th of December 2012.

From reading other topics I assumed it was a 24x7 automated service but there we go. Monday morning seems a long way away.

Just tried to call the NVC to get our case number and there is no option to enter the USCIS receipt number. Only to call during working hours 7AM - 12AM Eastern Daylight Time.
Anyone else had this problem. Want to get our DS-3032 sent off via email...!!!

My wife called me early this morning to say that she had received a text message from USCIS:
On May 4, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN. Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.
Let's get this party started....
Just tried to call the NVC automated message service to get the case number. It says to call back between 7AM and 11PM Eastern Daylight Time.

Hi everyone,
We're currently at the 1st stage of the CR1 process (awaiting decision from USCIS) and it's time to start gathering documents for the 2nd stage.
I'm curious to know if anyone has sent the original documents (police certs, birth certs, etc) to the NVC and also required to show originals at the Embassy interview or just photocopies. I had to send away to Australia for a copy of my birth certificate, not realising that I may possibly need more than 1 - this could mean my passport has to be sent away again for proof and no visits to the US to see my wife for a while...!!
I've scanned the forums but it seems as clear as mud to me..
Thanks in advance

Hello everyone,
I am a UK citizen who is marrying my US fiancée within the next week. We have decided to go down the CR1 visa route as this means I will be able to work in the US once the visa has been approved/issued. There are a few questions that have come up and we're hoping someone can offer some advice.
(a) In regards to evidence of a bona fide marriage, the only evidence we have are photos, emails, IM chat, telephone conversation records, flight booking references. Would this be enough to satisfy the USCIS or maybe some affidavits to go with this as I guess more information the better.
(b) Whilst the CR1 is being processed, can I visit the US on the VWP as long I have proof that I am intending to go back to the UK?
Thanks
