Here we are finally! So we received our interview letter on 06/30/15 with an interview date of 08/05/15 which went great. Now waiting for the Oat Ceremony to be done on 09/17. Just wanted to say thank you to each and everyone of you for the encouragement at times and most of all for going through all these processes together. Have a great weekend ahead!

Yay! Congratulations! I always look to see if you have posted anything just cuz we have done our bio-metrics so close in date and at have the same field office. Now that you got your interview date hoping that we get ours soon!

We received our bio-metrics appointment letter today and it is scheduled for 01/27.

I sent in my tax returns for the past 3 years with my application so they only asked me to bring my ID and Passports (current and expired)

We did too. Apparently they are asking for it again.

Also a question - we were asked to bring, a) Tax Returns for past 3 years, b) ID and c) Passports at the interview.

Did anyone else is asked to bring all of the above? Thanks!

Received yellow letter today dated 1/13/15.

Hello, so we received our NOA on 01/12/15 and check was cashed on 01/05. The question I have is that, at the end of the NOA this is what it says,

" Upon receipt of all required record checks, you will be scheduled to appear for an interview at your local USCIS field office." Should it say that?

I thought fingerprints is the next step? Thoughts please. Thanks!

This sounds like the Administrative Processing I posted about earlier in this thread, however I don't ever recall it being done to this extent for ROC.

Based on what I have read here regarding Administrative Processing/Security Checks, you are at the mercy of USCIS. There is really nothing you or a Senator can do. If you want to read some threads on Administrative Processing and what folks have gone through, just do a VJ search.

I agree but I have never heard anyone being AP at this level, I guess USCIS can do whatever.

Intergalactic, unfortunately at this point waiting patiently would be the only option, I know how devastated it is though. However, contacting the senator wouldn't hurt. I am so sorry again.

I hope you get an approval soon! For us, we got our RFE notice in the mail on July 19th and we did not waste any time and mailed out the RFE reponses on July 20th.

So all these time I called million times but only one answer in every level, your case is under intial review exactly like the online status update. However, On 27th August online status changed to 'new card in production' wait 30 days otherwise call blah blah and on the same day I got a letter in the mail congratulating on approval. Basically you can never predict their timing but they have a policy or something that all the cases after RFE responses should be solved within 90 days.

I sent my RFE packet last wednesday and delivered yesterday. Does USCIS update online status after that? How long? or How long should I wait before I hear response from them?

So I went to bed all frustrated last night after reading all the updates here. Couldn't help being sad. However, this morning husband sends me an email with a screenshot of our case status that says this:

On August 27, 2014, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

I hope it means - this is it!!

Hi Duke777 , thanks for replying . I was about to ask you a question but U have already answered it . I have a friend in florida who got approved about one month ago , he was a January filter but anyway he told me that his approval letter has the signature of the director of his local office so he told me that he thought that his case was sent first to the local office to get approved but he said that the address on the envelope outside id from Vermont ., and it seems that u have the same . Now we can figure out the technique of approvals . It seems like they send it to the local office then back to them at Vermont . This might explain why some cases get approved in 4-5 months and others take more " because every local office is different " . I'm losing my mind here so i'm trying to find any logical explanation for what's going on with me .

Today turns out to be a wonderful day. Our wait game seems to be over already. My little sister just called me and told me i got a letter from USCIS.. Told her to send me a picture of the letter since i am not home. It reads " Congratulations. Your request for the removal of conditional basis of your permanent resident status has been approved. You are deemed to be a lawful permanent resident of the USA" and all the blabber and my card will arrive within 60 days. There is still no update online though. So the immigration officer was right. I Pray that everyone gets their approval letter very very soon. Approval date is 08/02/2014.

Hey I am sorry that you are in the same boat as I am. Here are things that they ask for:

1. Children Result in your marriage - we have none but I sent some bills for all the fertility treatments that we are going through.

2. Evidence that you and your spouse live together - We have sent them a copy of the deed of our house but they had a question about a schdule that had no address on it, so we gathered more documents that refers to that schedule or map.

3. Evidence that you and your spouse have combined financial, joint checking and savings showing withdrawals and deposits for the period that you are married - we re-sent our bank statements and highlighted the withdrawals like car payment, mortgage,utility payment, credit card payment etc .

4. Insurance policies that shows beneficiary - we took screen print of our ADP from work to show that we are listed as each other's life insurance beneficiary and a copy of the enrollments forms from work.

5. Joint Federal Tax Returns - Mind you, we already have sent this, but we still re-sent 2012 & 2013 IRS Tax Transcripts.

6.Joint installment, other loans, or credit card statements - Again, we send our car title before, so we sent screen print from Toyota financial services that shows both of us (our names) as owners, and a credit card statement for last 12 months. Also, picture of the credit card that shows same cc number.

7. Evidence that you and your spouse have joint estate - we have none.

8. Any other relevant documents - we never send picture before but this time we send 30 photos from various occasions/vacations, vacations, copies of airfare tickets through Orbitz, our vacations, expenses highlighted in the CC statement.

9. Affidavit from third parties - we sent 2 before but this time we included 2 more. All were notarized and those people who wrote the affidavits are in our picture album, I also made sure to point that out with sticky notes.

All of those documents weighed about at least 4lbs but you know what I don't care. They are bunch of idiots like I said before. Just anxious to know what's next.

This just gets frsutrating by the minute. They wait after 6 months to send u a RFE? That is really sad. People who applied at the end of January are getting approved while those of us who applied at the beginning of December still wait in the darkness. Worse of all, you get surprised by an RFE? I just so disappointed in the entire process especially leaving december cases and doing january cases. What is the rationale? It just doesnt add up.. Will keep calling them till someone has something tangible to tell me besides the December 2 Cases gibberish.

Tell me about it! I am beyond frustrated. So I called yesterday to see if there is any update, the dude was so freaking rude and he kept telling me that the cases take up to 1 year so that is why they give you an extension for an year! But that is not the point, the point is it has been more than 6 months and you want more evidence to proof our marriage, all I want to say is that, come live around our street an observe us for a weeks or so, cuz I feel like i'm done, I have nothing else to show! Maybe along with our zumba workout videos, we prolly should record our normal couple fights too to make them believe and send those to them! Bunch of idiots.

I have been waiting for our 10-yr green card like everyone else, however, we got a RFE on 06/17/14 and we hurried up and responded on the 21st with 4 lbs of more documents, mind you - some of the documents we already have sent. Had no idea we might get a RFE but oh well! I thought we sent everything but I guess not.

Now it's time for the horrifying wait again
